So after much debate, and a lot of people begging me, I've decided I will not rewrite *cringes inwardly* Parkingspace. I know it's cliched, but it also helped me grow as a writer. So this account is going to only have uploads on this story. The rest of the stories will evenutally move to my new account, FearlesslySpeakNow. I have no idea how often I'll update, but it will be often enough. I want to finish this, for once and for all. So, everyone should go back and reread this, just to get a feel of what's been happening. This part is exciting, I DROP A BOMBSHELL!(; But please fan the other account, because as soon as this story is finished I will not check this account anymore. I've decided I want to recast the characters, so any suggestions are helpful. Let me know how you like it. I must warn you, I'm going to try to still be McKenna Woods in this but it definitely won't be so "OMG I LOVE CHASE OMG HE SMIRKED!" Okay? Love you guys!<3

So Recap: McKenna and Mike hangout after she arrives, now she's about to go out to dinner with her anxious Mom.

NOW:

"Mom I'm back, I'll get ready for dinner!" I yell as I open the front door and head straight to Tyler's old room. I remember the first time I slept in here, it was after I made a complete fool out of myself and kissed him. Laughing at the memory, I slip on a burgundy sundress that made me look tan. I picked the sand out of my hair and reapplied my makeup, nervous. I shouldn't be nervous, I mean it's my Mom and I. But sometimes you get the feeling in your stomach that somethings wrong, and I'm there right now. Someone died, someones pregnant... something. I fiddle around for as long as I could avoid it until Mom yelled up for me. "Coming!" I responded as I barrel down the stairs.

She was standing in the doorway with her dark brown dress hitting her knees. She smiled effortlessly at me as she slipped her dainty feet into white open-toed flats. "Ready?" She asks.

"Yeah. You look," I try to smile, "really good Mom."

Mom threw her head back and started laughing. "Thank you sweetie. You look stunning, as per usual since I created you."

I join in her laugh and feel a twinge of something as I think about maybe this would have been our relationship if she never left. "Thanks Mom. Let's go." I start toward the door and Mom follows.

When we get in the car, Mom starts talking and filling every silence that we had before. "So sweetie, I want you to know this dinner is very important," She coughs, "It's important because... well, you've got a lot of life left in you, and I want you to know I love you. No matter what. I've got life in me too, it's just, you're young and vibrant. Speaking of your age, how close would you say you and Chase are?"

"I don't know..." I respond, trying to avoid a talk.

I think I was set to get another one anyway, for Mom just launched back into it. "Sweetie, I understand you and Chase are in 'Love'," She bunny ears the 'love'. "But you are too young to throw your life away. I did not have you to have you been a teenage baby mama. Got me? Because I understand that nowadays shameless fun isn't so shameless. Example, your sister. I mean, Annabelle had a lot going for her. I hope you understand I'm talking to you about this because I care." Her voice is so shrill and she's talking so fast I feel sorry for her. She's not a good Mom, she doesn't know how to be.

"Mom, listen..." I cough, buying time. We have to be near the restaurant, because she slowed down and is looking for parking between two different places, both chintzy and expensive looking. Mom turns her head and eyes me, expectantly. I sigh, then talk again. "Don't worry. I know what my limits are." I feel like that's a good response. I don't want to tell her everything, but I do. I want a Mom to tell these kinds of things. "Yes Mom, Chase is pressuring me and I have no clue what I'm supposed to do about it." Yeah... right.

"And what are your limits, exactly?"

"Oh my god Mom!" I shout as she finally picks a spot.

"What? Can't you tell me?"

"No."

"Why not?"

"Because although you- by blood- are my mother, you've only recently been a mother. So no, I'm not going to go through and tell you about my life." I snap.

The hurt in her eyes makes me regret it. "Oh... I understand." Is all she says, then she opens up the door to the car and walks out. I do the same.

"Mom I-"

"Don't, sweetie. I deserved that... I guess."

"I'm-"

Suddenly Mom stops walking and spins around to look me in the face. "I will make it up one day. I promise."

"Alright." She turns again and starts walking towards the more chintzy and more lavish restaruant. "Mom, how are you going to afford this?" I ask politely. I know Mom isn't poor, but she definitely isn't rich.

"Don't you worry your pretty little mind." She smiles back at me. "I need to warn you... tonight is going to be shocking." She reaches the door and hold it open for me.

"Why?" I ask curiously.

"You'll see." She steps in with me and goes straight to a booth in the back. I notice the happy diners and a few of them greet her.

"Mom, how do these people know-" I'm stopped mid sentence by my Dad sitting in said booth, without any hair on his head, and Annabelle bawling.

"Hi McKenna. Take a seat."

Hi! I was going to make this longer but I need to sleep! I'm going to the zoo in the morning. So... I'M BACK! I HOPE YOU LOVE THIS. Any guesses on what's about to happen? I'll dedicate the next chapter to you if you get it right.

Sorry if this isn't long, but like I said I need sleep and this is basically a little fun thing I'm doing.

I noticed how I sort of changed McKenna's additude toward her Mom so I switched it back as subtly as I could.

I didn't edit this so point out any mistakes! Thanks.
