Hey All. I'm so sorry it took so long, but I've been grounded. I whipped this up in 15 minutes, so sorry if it sucks. But remember, where theres Chase and McKenna, there will be drama. (:
Love you! BTW, STILL NEED A COVER, ANY TAKERS?
Every class goes by fast, because all were doing is studying for finals. Chase doesn't really talk much, but he's also freaking out about finals. I dismiss it and the bell for lunch. Finally! We walk to the lunchroom together, and I get a flashback of the first day we met, and how I hated being around him. It was like, I was so attracted to him, but something told me to stay away.
And maybe I like the chase. Haha, that's a pun. Chase slips his arm around me and I smile. "So ChaCha, how's angie?" Angie, his little devil of a sister, is absolutely his favorite thing to talk about. I don't really mind it all that much, because I wish I had someone who was so proud of me no matter how rude and snobby I am.
"She's good. She wanted me to ask you if you could take her shopping..." Oh no. No, no, no. I will not take her shopping. She gives me daggers whenever I'm touching Chase. One time, I kissed his cheek and she started screaming. Now, imagine if she knew what Chase wanted from me. I bet I would become her favorite.
"I really-"
"Micky, I really want my two favorite girls to bond." He says, looking in my eyes. What a lame excuse. I don't want to. "Micky, for me? I dealt with Fearn..." He says.
That's not fair. I didn't force him to talk to her. Well, if I was earlier, he wouldn't have had to talk to her. I mean, one afternoon with Angie wont kill me. I sigh and roll my eyes but answer, "FINE!"
Chase smiles. "Pushover." And he walks up to the line of food. Normally, he gets the food for us, I throw it away. It's a good system. I sit down at his table. Kendra, his former fling and flaming hoe, still sits there because her and Jack, Chase's ex-bestfriend, are dating. Other people sit there too, and they all have the general niceness of a group. A few months ago, I would've called these people popular. But they're really not. They have their friends, I have mine. Mine can be counted on one finger, but it still counts.
"Hey guys." I say and wave.
Lucas, Gabriella, and Justin all wave back. Gabriella is such a sweet girl. Her and Lucas, one of Chase's friends, have been together for over a year. They're cute together, and I can't deny that I wish I had that. "Hey there Mckenna!" Gabriella says back.
"How's life?" I ask as I fumble through my bag. It's a really pretty bag, but it's way too big. I never can find my phone or keys. I feel someone slip there arms around my shoulders. "Hey ChaCha." I smile up at him and feel my phone in my hands. It's wierd, it's like he's my goodluck charm.
"Hey Micky." He responds and puts our food in front of us. I start with the bosco sticks, because they're only good warm.
"You guys want to know what I've noticed?" Aaron asks.
"Not really." Chase says. I laugh a little and keep eatting the bosco stick.
"Well," Aaron starts, "you and little McKenna here don't really have that lovey dovey relationship."
"What's that supposed to mean?" I ask, feeling my eyesbrows raise a little. Aaron starts backpedaling.
"What I meant was, like, you just seem like really good friends. I've never seen you guys kiss, and well, Chase hasn't told us any stories about your first."
Uhm, excuse me? "My first." I want it to sound like a question, but I'm getting flustered. Whats with the sudden interest in my virginity? I don't get it.
