The Game that changed her life.

Chapter 1

Omg I got a phone..!!! Finally. I never heard of a 15 year old who doesn't have a phone. Anyway me and my family are heading down to Florida to visit my friends Nathan and Joshua. My brother Caleb and Henry were joking around and bumped into them. So we have all been friend's since then. I know I am going to have a blast.

"Sophia get off of your phone and help out." my mother said

My mom has been hassling me the most. Sadly, i am the oldest one and i have to take care of everything. I mean i wouldn't blame her. As i am getting everything in the car i feel a vibration from my phone. It was a text from Nathan.

Nathan : "Hey. Cant wait until u guys get here. So is Josh. He is excited" :-)

Me: lol ight gtg getting on plane. The flight attendant said 2 put all electronics away..ttyl.

Nathan: ok. Ttyl.

So we just landed and we are at the airport. Nathan and Joshua said they will be here to show us around. Then i notice to teenage boys with a sign that says...

Welcome back Lopez's.
Then that's when i realized that it was Nathan and Joshua. Joshua ran up to me and gave me a tight hug and whispered...

"Welcome back girl."

Just as that happened Nathan as the nerd he is yells..

"Get em Josh!!"

I feel my face grow hot from me. Blushing. I think me and Joshua have something but not only does he live here in Florida but it would be weird and awkward. I think now we are just going to remain friends. Now we are heading to one of the resort's that Nathan and Joshua set up for us.

So we are now here and its amazing. They have an Olympic sized pool and a teen room with games and a hockey table. I went to my room and as i was putting my belongings on the bed i felt someone wrap there arms around me and says.

"Guess who"

I immediately know its Joshua. As i turned around he said

" come I'll show you around"

Before i could respond my hand was in his and we are rushing down the hall way and running the opposite way from where my parents were.

"Josh where are we going? We could get in trouble."

"Sophia its okay. I talked to your parents they said it would be okay of i were to take you out for a surprise and then when they are ready for us to leave they will come find us."

So the surprise was bowling and laser tagging. We finished early so we went to the park. It was dark outside So we decided to play hide and go seek. We were both bored we i thought why not. So it was his turn to find me. As i am hiding behind a tree I feel l phone vibrate and its a text from Josh. It says

Josh: where are you? Its dark out here

Me: lol. Im not telling you. Its called hide and seek for a reason. Hahahahah.

Then he comes behind me and says that's fine. I found you anyway. He paused and had this look in his eyes.

"Whats wrong Josh?"

"Soph"

That's all he says. He looked into my eyes and stepped closer. My heart beat got faster I didn't know what to do. Then he out his hand on my cheek and his lips found mine. I pushed him away and looked into his eyes and I know he felt something, but I didn't. We heard a raid snap and Josh held on to me. It was Nathan and he was out of breath.

"Bro i am happy for you but Sophia's parents are looking for her."

I must have had a look on my face because as we were walking I got a text from Nathan saying

Nathan: ur my best friend and so is josh. Ik ur not in 2 him like dat. I can tell. So don't lead him on and tell him how u feel

Me: it rite. I'll tell him 2morrow.

Nathan: tell him when the time is right.

Me: alright. Good night man

Nathan: night
