Chapter 16

It was 8am as I find my way towards the bathroom. Two seconds later Alex comes from behind me and hold my hair. As I am done hurling I take a quick shower. Then I wash my face and brush my teeth. I went into the room and Alex was there sitting quietly. We both sat there in silence. Then I broke the silence saying

" I heard what you said yesterday. I heard every word and I believe you."

A deep red blush appears on Alex. Then he came and put his hands on my waist gripping it firmly. He whispered

"Soph, I love you. Please give me another chance. Please I...."

I cut him off there and I press my lips on his. As before he was surprised. Then he pressed me into the wall and he kissed me with everything he had. I am ready for anything intimate like that. Alex pulled away as his eyes fill with tears.

" Soph you have to understand, I never like that girl. I never even looked at her in that way. I love you and no one else."

I replied with

"Babe if I didn't believe you I wouldn't have kissed you."

Then he hugged me and I cup his face in my hands and whisper

" I am never letting you go again. You are mine."

Then we heard a scream. Me and Alex jumped and we turned around and it was Jennifer.

"I am so glad you guys figured things out. But Soph look at this video of Alex yelling at the Blondie. It had 10,000 views already. "

As I was looking at the video Alex came from behind me and wrapped his arms around me and he says

" I am taking you out today, lets go."

So I stop by my grandmothers house. She has been watching Me, Caleb, and Henry since the accident. She has been here every step of the way.

"Hey abuela I am going out today."

"Ok be back by 10pm."

"Deal."

I decided to wear denim shorts with a plaid shirt. Black converse with my hair in a pony tail. Then Alex shows up with his car and he opened the door for me. So he took me to Culvers. We shared a concrete mixer and I had a small fry. So I say down and I started to explain my self.

" I am so sorry Alex. I had a lot of things going through my mind and I didn't know what to do."

" Soph, just as u were here for me I am here for you."

As he said that Two girls appear out of no where. It was a Blondie and a red head. I immediately noticed the Blondie from the beginning. She said

" So Alex, when did you start hanging out with the alcoholic? I bet you she does drugs to. A druggie. Why have her when you can have me?"

I immediately felt the tears rushing to my eyes and a red blush appears on my face. I was so embarrassed. I dug my nails into my palm trying to hold back my anger. Then I couldn't hold it anymore and the tears flowed down towards my cheeks and down to my chin.

" Aww the girl is crying, here's a twenty that should be enough to buy you about two cases of beer."

Just as I thought Alex was just going to sit there he said

" No. You will need it for when you get your face and boobs redone. I love Sophia and She is as real as it gets. She is defiantly better then you."

Then Alex took back the twenty and said in a sarcastic tone

" thanks for the dinner darling."

We went to the car and I sat there quietly thinking about what that Blondie said. More tears rolled down my face as I realize that she was right.

Alex P.O.V
Sophia sits quietly and she begins to cry again. I can tell she is trying to hold it in. I grabbed her hand and gave it a small squeeze as a sign that I was there for. After a couple of minutes of silence she turns to me and says

"Thanks for standing up for me but she was right. I turned to alcohol because I didn't know what to do."

I reply

"Babe you are beautiful and smart and I hope you know that. I know that you were in pain. You did absolutely nothing wrong."

Then she stays quiet and says

" Can you take me home."

Alex took me to the door and he apologized for today. I told him not to worry about it. Then he kissed me on the cheek and said he would text me later. Then after he left I went to my room and say on my bed as the butterflies come back. At that moment I knew everything is back to normal.
