I walk up to the pile of bags and pick one up. It's so heavy I stumble a bit. Luckily I'm saved from the humiliation of falling though because two strong hands land on my shoulders.
Sparks go down my whole body and I whip around to see who could've caused this. My eyes widen when I see that's it's Liam and he has a smirk on his face. Did he really cause those sparks? "Is it too heavy for you shorty?" He says and removes his hands from my shoulders.
I punch him in the arm but he doesn't even flinch. "Shut up." I mumble and I see that he's already carrying his like its a bag of feathers but I'm am telling you that is not the case it feels like it's full of bricks.
I see the rest of our group leave the cabin and I put the bag on. I wobble slightly for a few seconds but I eventually get used to the weight.
I start to walk with Liam beside me. We walk I silence until Liam decides to speak up, "So Mia want to sit with me on the bus?"
I think it over for a minute. Xavier is probably going to sit with Greg and I wouldn't put it against Rebecca if she sits with Brandon. They would be a cute couple. "Sure." I answer him with a smile.
He smiles back and we eventually get to the bus. I gasp at the hunk of pure machinery. Instead of a normal yellow bus it's a coach bus, you know the ones with tinted windows, a washroom and even a few TVs. It's also looks like it's two times bigger then a normal bus.
I let out an excited squeal which causes Liam to laugh and the weird thing is I don't even care. I actually kinda like his laugh. "I'm guessing you've never been on one of these."
I look up at him since he's at least a foot taller then me. "Your guess is correct."
"Well they're pretty awesome." He says with a genuine smile which makes me smile back.
"Everyone put your bags in the cargo and then board the bus!" I hear Jackson's voice come from somewhere in the hoard of people.
Everyone, including Liam and I put our bags in the cargo and walk into the bus. I look around to see that our group of friends are in the back, reserving a spot for me and Liam. Just like I thought Xavier and Greg are sitting in one of the back pairs of seats and Rebecca and Brandon are siting in the other.
We both walk over and sit in the empty seats in front of Rebecca and Brandon. I let Liam take the window seat while I take the aisle one. As soon as all the other campers are seated the bus starts its journey starting with the dirt road.
"Isn't this exciting?" Rebecca says from behind me.
I turn in my seat and face her. "Yea, I'm excited at first I wasn't though."
"Well I'm pretty sure this is the same place as other years so it's going to be fun. I've never had another girl friend with me so this year should be even more fun." She sends a smile my way and I can't help but smile back.
"How long is the drive?" I ask her.
"A few hours so we should think about things that can keep up busy."
I think about it for a few moments before getting an idea. "How about truth or dare?" I suggest.
She clearly likes the idea because she smiles again. "Guys we're playing truth or dare!" She's says loud enough so the rest of group can hear.
I glance at Liam and see there's a smirk on his face. This is going to be so much fun, I can finally wipe that smirk off his face. "So what are the rules do we get chickens?" I hear Xavier ask.
"Nope," I reply. "Chickens are for wusses.
"I'll go first," Brandon says. "Mia truth or dare?"
I pretend to think about it. "I pick dare."
Since he's sitting in the window seat he stands up so I can see him but instead of looking at me his eyes scan the bus full of people.
He points up ahead. "See that guy up there?"
I stand up and follow his gaze. My eyes land on a black hair, pale skinned boy who is staring out the window, sitting alone. I don't know why but to me he looks like the shy type. "Yea, I see him."
A smirk starts to form on his face which kinda freaks me out. I'm used to Brandon smiling, smirking is more Liam's thing.
"Ok. I dare you to sit beside him, take his hand and start to make out with it." This makes the whole group go into hysterics including myself.
"I can't wait to see this." Liam says from beside me and I lightly punch his arm.
Once I compose myself I say, "Challenge accepted." I walk up the aisle until I get to the poor and innocent guy.
I sit beside him and mumble a sorry before I take his hand and start to make out with it. "Ew get away from me you creep!" He yells and yanks his hand away from me. "Leave me alone!" He yells again.
I don't have to be told twice.
I quickly get out of the chair and nearly run back to the group of my friends who are laughing very loudly.
I sit in my spot beside Liam and he wipes a tear away. "That was great!" He says in between laughs.
"You should have seen his face!" Rebecca exclaims.
"Everyone was watching!" Brandon says.
I look over and Xavier and Greg. I bet if Greg could he would be laughing as well. "I never would have done that," says Xavier. "You're one brave person."
And that's how the rest of the bus ride went. We played truth or dare and made amazing memories while doing it.
