I turn to my side to face the giant mountain that we are apparently going to climb.  There's trees and shrubs all around the base and the thing itself Is at least three stories tall. The weird thing is instead of having a point at the top it's flat, it looks man made. The flat part is also covered in trees and other vegetation.

"There's some rules!" Jackson's voice exclaims. "Rule number one: Stay on the path!  Rule number two: No horseplay we don't want anyone getting hurt! That's it, let's go have some fun!"

The crowd of campers erupt into cheers and it's so infectious I can't help but let out a little cheer myself. "Why are you so excited?" Liam nearly snarls from beside me as the crowd starts to walk.

"Because I don't have a stick up my ass." I snap and follow the group that has started to walk.

"I don't have a stick up my ass thank you very much."  He says.

I raise an eyebrow. "Oh really? Then why have you been a jerk every since we got off the bus?"

I see his face soften a tiny bit which makes me smile.  He does have feelings after all. "Well I've been worrying. I have to make sure a certain idiot doesn't fall of this mountain." He says teasingly which causes me to lightly punch him in arm.

"I'm am not an idiot I happen to be a straight A student." Of course that's a lie and he knows it because he does the most amazing thing, he laughs. I love his laugh, he should laugh more often.

I can't help but laugh as well as we start our way up the mountain. "We both know that isn't true." He says after the laughter has died down.

"Ok maybe straight B student." Now that's the truth. When it comes to school I haven't been the best or the worst. I'm just average.

He smiles. "That's better."

We fall into comfortable silence and after a few minutes that I can feel the effects of a the heavy bag on my back and the fact that were walking uphill.  "You ok?" Liam asks me.

"Yea I'm fine I'm just getting tired." That's when I notice I'm panting slighting and my throat is dry.

"Maybe you should stop and have some of you water I don't want you to pass out." He says with a kind smile on his face.

I smirk because this is the perfect opportunity to tease him. "Awe tough guy actually cares for me?"

He rolls his eyes and say, "Yea, yea don't get used to it now stop so I can grab your water bottle."

I stop walking and he brings me to the side of the path so people can pass us if they want to. He rummages through my bag until he has a stainless steal water bottle in his hand. "Here have some." He says and hands it to me.

I take the bottle , open it and greedily drain it of half its contents. I sigh in relief and I pass it back to him. He puts it back into my bag.  "Thanks."  I say as we start to walk in comfortable silence once again.

For some reason my mind goes to a certain red head boy who can't speak. "So what exactly happened to Greg?" I question.

I hear him let out a small sigh. " About two years ago we were all in a car, Brandon, Xavier, Greg Rebecca and me." Rebecca knew them previously? When I first met her why did she act like she didn't? Weird.

"We were all going to a party but to get there we had to go on a backroad," He sighs and I can tell this is hard for him to talk about.  "A deer jumped out in front of us and Xavier tried to swerve out of the way but we went into the ditch which was basically a hill and it was full of trees."

I let out a small gasp. "I'm so sorry."

He gives me a small nod to acknowledge my apology but he continues his story, "So of course we hit a tree," He sighs yet again.  "Long story short we were all fine except for Greg, something happened to vocal cords and now he can't speak." He sighs again and I can tell he's holding back tears.

"He was such a happy guy before that happened.  He was outgoing and always the one to push us to go on adventures.  But after it happened he became closed off, never going out and never doing anything."

By he tone I can tell he's feels really bad about this. He wasn't even the one driving, I wonder how Xavier felt or still feels.

"He alway stayed in his room until Xavier decided to tell us about this place. He came here prior to the accident and decided to tell us that we should all come, which we all obvious did. We've been coming here ever since after the accident which is two years now."

Without a moments hesitation I wrap my arms around him and give him a tight hug. I feel his body tense up and I quickly pull away. "I'm sorry." I whisper both sorry about how I hugged him and about what happened to Greg.

"Let's just go." He walks away and I follow until we're at the top of the mountain.

(A/N: So we got to dive into what happened to Greg! If you remember in a previous chapter Brandon said he and his group of friends have being going to the camp for four years I changed it to two because I needed to for this chapter to make sense! Don't forget to vote and comment it's much appreciated!<3)
