Its been 2 days since Madison died.
Madison is dead.
It feels so weird saying that. I'm not able to think I need to know what happened, I need to find who did it.
Maddie didn't deserve this.No one does.
"Mum,I'm going for a walk I need some time to myself is that okay?"
"Of course honey." Mum hugs me tightly,she knows what I'm going through...
I run all the way to Maddie's house and making sure no one saw me. I darted under the caution tape around her driveway...
Damon POV
I can't believe it.
Vampires.
I couldn't sleep at all .That poor girl...I can't believe I used to be like that as well, just taking lives away from people like it was candy...
I get ready as fast as I can and go to the victims house for any evidence.The bastard was probably invited in and as soon as that girl found out what he was she must have ran outside, but it was too late.
How do I know this you ask?
I was a vampire for 200 years remember?
I go into the house and as I'm looking around I hear some kind of rustling sound.
Someone was here. I reach some wooden pencils and stealthily walk to where the sound was coming from.I dart in,in attack mode.When I see a girl with a guilty heartbroken face staring at me with sad eyes.
"Hi Ian"
She remembers me
"Hi Ariana,um what are you doing here ? this place is off limits."
"I'm so sorry but m-my best friend Madison sh-she--"
She burst into tears.I walk up to to her and squeeze her shoulder.
"Don't worry I know how much your friend means to so I think we should work together to find who did this."
She dries her eyes and smiles that cute little smile and says thanks she gives me a quick hug and tells me she'll come back tomorrow but her mom will be looking for her now.
Seeing how sad this makes her makes me even more determined to find this vampire.
I got my wooden stakes made.I got my vervain.
