32: Tying loose ends

Damon POV

"Bonnie could do a locater spell to find where Ariana is?"

"Yes but I would need her blood and I don't think we have much of that"

"But I do" Elena said as she walked in.

I decided to let her in now that I know how I feel about her.

"Remember when I kidnapped her, tortured her and turned her?"

Like I needed to be reminded of that!

"You did what!" Bonnie exclaimed.

Elena raised an eyebrow at me,"You didn't tell her?"

"Nope" I said popping the p.

She sighed and carried on,"Anyway I have a knife with her blood on it in case I needed to find her at that time."

"Where is it" Stefan asked.

I completely forgot about him. I was so worried about the Ariana situation that I just forgot about the weird things happening to him. Which reminded me, that was a another problem to look into.

"It's in the same place as where I kidnapped her." Elena replied.

"Let's go then!" Tyler said impatienly.

We did the locater spell and found where Ariana was. It was pretty hard driving to the place.

When we reached I saw Ariana there she looked so happy to see us. Well most of us...

"What's she doing here?" Ariana asked.

"Elena helped us find you" I said.

"I'm sorry for everything... I was out of my mind" Elena said honestly.

"You were, and I think I should get over this grudge and forgive you" Ariana sighed.

Elena POV

I lit up with happiness. Finally I could get along with Ariana! I didn't want anymore awkwardness. I pulled her into a hug. And smiled at her greatfully. And then I hear a very familiar voice...

"Sorry to ruin your happy moment!"

I turned to face him. This was bad. We would never be able to escape Jude. I glared at him.

"Elena! Long time no see since you betrayed me..." He said.

"What do want?" Damon asked him angrily.

Jude brought Zaina with him. She stood next to him. What if I could get her on our side?...

"You all know what I want! I want the Bennet doppelgänger"

"Well you can't have her" Damon said in a cocky way, basically his usual tone.

I gave him a look. Jude is not the person to mess or show attidute to.

"I need to talk to Zaina." I said bravely.

"Why?!"

"Please?"

He let her walk over to me. I quietly spoke to her.

"You know you can't let him have too much power!" I said

"Of course I do but you know that he will kill me if anything dodgy happens"

"Don't worry I just need you to do a few spells that will help me kill him"

"You can't do that yet!"

"Why?" I asked extremely confused.

"He did something to Stefan, he won't be able to feed on animal blood. Only human blood, the human blood makes him stronger"

"Can't you undo it?"

"No, only the witch who cast the spell can..."

Shit! How can we get him to undo the spell?

And then it hit me. We could pretend to hand over Ariana in exchange for undoing the spell. One thing I know well about Jude is that he doesn't think straight when it comes to getting close to power.
I told Zaina my plan and she loved it. We started to to put the plan in action and everything was going swimmingly. Ariana was now walking slowly towards Jude. Zaina was doing a cloaking spell on me and I was creeping behind Jude ready to attack. I twisted his neck quickly and he fell to the floor. The Aquarius coven would soon know about this and seek their vengeance but we can deal with that some other time...

Ariana POV

We're all at Damon's house having a little party to celebrate our victory and me coming back. Maddy is no longer dead but she is a runaway.. Tyler made sure no one knew it was a vampire and no one knew about all those people Stefan killed. Im starting to get used to all this vampire stuff...

Damon POV

Me and Elena were alone in the living room. Every one else was in the garden.
I start the conversation.

"I don't think I realised it, but I don't think I ever stopped loving you..."

She stepped close to me and I held her hands. There wasn't much space between us.

"I'm glad you came back to me." She whispered and then we kissed. I never felt so happy in months. It felt so right and good to be back with her. I knew despite the worst situations I would be alright as long as Elena was with me...
