"Let's see, Theodore Robert Bundy usually referred to as Ted Bundy. Guilty of killing more than fifty people over the span of five years. Blah blah blah. Sentenced to be executed, blah blah blah. Ah here we go! Case solved by the FBI with the help of world famous detective Z. Read more on page 6." I love reading about what people think of Z, in the newspaper, magazines, and on the internet.

I turn to page six in my newspaper to read more about what people think of Z and reach over to my candy drawer for a ring pop. Seeing as I'm still looking at the paper I can't see what I'm grabbing. Feeling nothing there I actually look up and, much to my dismay, I'm all out. I'll ask my butler to get me more! "William?" I call out and wait a few moments. "That's strange. William always comes when I call him. He must be out."

I get up to go get my phone so I can call him. After two rings he picks up and says the same thing he says every time he answers.

"Hello Miss Zoe, how may I help you?" I hear his posh English accent say. It's such a comforting sound, you can hear his age in his voice.

"Hello William, I was just calling to see where you were. I haven't see you around the hotel room in a while." When I talk to anyone in public I always sound like an English Noble. William has made sure of that.

"Very well Miss. I thought I would pop out for a bit, seeing as it's such a lovely day out." Something sounded off with him. Almost as though he was lying to me. I decided to ignore it for now.

"Oh, okay than. But since you're out could you pick me up some ring pops? I seem to have run out." I know some people who need candy to think but I don't. I just enjoy the sweetness and how the candy is so smooth.

"Of course. I knew that you would be running low by now. I'll be back shortly."

"Thank you William. I will see you soon." With that I hung up the phone to continue reading my ever so interesting paper.

The famous detective Z has helped solve yet another case that the police had no luck in. The case had started over five years ago but the detective hadn't been called in until the middle of year four. After Z was called in it only took half a year till the case was solved and the murder was behind bars ready to be executed.

No one knows Z's identity. We don't even know if Z is a man or a woman, a child, teen, or adult. We don't know anything about the worlds second famous detective! It's the same for the most famous detective as well. The mysterious L, who has been around for longer than Z.

There is one question that we as the public want to know. Do these two detectives know who the other is or are they in the dark like the rest of us?

"You're reading out loud again Miss."

"Huh? What? Oh hi William. When did you get back?" I questioned as I look back from him to my news paper with a bored expression.

"I got back a few moments ago when I heard mumbling coming from your room."

"I didn't even realize I was doing it." He tells me I mumble a lot but I never know I do it. I turned back to look at him and that's when I noticed something behind his back. "So what have you got there?"

"Oh right, here are the ring pops you asked me to pick up." That's not the only thing he has behind his back. I look him in the eye and thank him while pretending I didn't see the other thing.

"Thanks William. It was driving me crazy not having them." I reply as I turn to put them in my candy drawer. "Now why don't you tell me what you're really hiding behind your back?" I question while still turned around, my back facing him. My face is smug and I can see his reaction in my laptop. His facial expression tells me that he was only a little surprised by my comment but mostly it showed that he was expecting me to notice he had something else hidden.

"So you did notice. I shouldn't expect anything less. Your observation skills are as sharp as always, Z." He praised with a little chuckle.

"Well I would hope so. What good is a detective without sharp observations?" Yes, I am Z, the world's second greatest detective. I could have been anything since I'm a genius with and IQ of 196, but when I was little my parents were murdered so I became a detective. That story is for a different time. Now back to my conversation with William. "So what are you hiding behind your back anyway?"

"It's the new laptop you have been wanting. I thought I would get it for you seeing as the one you have now is really old." He's always been so kind to me. He treats me like I'm his daughter. Sadly, his biological daughter died many years ago. But that story is also for another time.

       "Thank you William. It's perfect!"

"You deserved it Miss. After you get it set up you should go to bed. It's getting pretty late."

"Sure thing William. Goodnight." With that he left and I was alone in my room again.

I got my laptop set up shortly after he left but I couldn't stop admiring the top of it. The lid of the laptop looked like a bloody murder scene with police tape and everything. I had always found blood interesting, The color is so beautiful. No I'm not a Psychopath. I would only ever hurt someone if they were trying to hurt me or someone I care for.

After I was done admiring the laptop I decided to draw, against William's suggestion of going to bed. I usually draw when I'm having a hard time concentrating but other times I like to draw if I remember something from my childhood.

I started out by drawing the waterfall by where my parents and I used to live. They would take me there to relax while I would play and learn some things about the environment. The waterfall took me a good hour to get it to look how I remember it, after I did I started working on my parents sitting on the picnic blanket watching me play in the water.

It was a nice day out so my mom was wearing a blue, green, and white sun dress. Her long golden hair was curled to perfection hanging in the middle of her back. On the other hand, my father was wearing a pair of old blue jeans and a white T-shirt that fit him perfectly. Both of them had big smiles on their faces and looked truly happy.

Being pleased with how my drawing was looking so far I decided to continue on by drawing myself. I was wearing a simple pink dress that went down to my knees but the bottom was slightly wet.

Even though I remember the day in perfect detail I chose to draw it in black and white. It is my belief that black and white makes every picture take on multiple meanings.

The entire picture took me around 4 hours to complete but it was worth it to see my memory on paper so everyone else could enjoy it as much as I do.

"I suppose I should go to bed now." I half yawned to myself. As soon as I hit the pillows I was out cold for the rest of the night and about half way through the next day.
