"I want to take you somewhere." Steven urged, grabbing Liliana's smooth and pale hand. It was a cold New York night with white snowflakes falling from the dark sky. Snowflakes were caught in Liliana's blonde lashes, melting when they made contact with the lash. Steven thought that this sight was so beautiful in such a simple way.
Liliana bit her lip and smiled, dimples
becoming visible against her pale skin."Where are we going?" She breathed into the air, a puff of cold smoke following her sentence, and disappearing into the night as soon as it came.
Steven was leading her to his little Toyota, intending on taking her to the place he had in mind.
"Uh.." He paused, seeming to think about what he was going to say. "I'll tell you when we get there."
He held the white door open for her and she wiggled her eyebrows.
"But do I trust you?" She said playfully.
"Come on! Get in already! It's freezing!" Steven said, jumping up and down for emphasis.
"You're such a wuss." She scowled, slumping into the passenger seat.
He hurried to the drivers seat and pulled off his heavy winter jacket.

They pulled onto a dark road that looked pretty sketchy to the naked eye.
"Is this the part where you Dexter me?" Lily playfully hinted, her breath slightly shaky.
"No..." Steven said, mysteriously. "This is the part where I blow your mind!"
With that, he pulled onto a sandy bank with frozen water in front of him.
The 1975 was softly playing on the old radio, setting the mood.
Her breath stopped, but only for a second.
"What do you think?" He replied, "Should we get out and shout our thoughts to the night? Or do we dare strip and jump into the water?"
"No!" She exclaimed. "Its literally freezing, are you insane?"
"Honestly?" Steven grew serious.
"Yes." She whispered to the dark.
Their breaths were even as they stared into the dark.
Maybe it's easier to tell your secrets to the dark, he thought.
"I often think I should be institutionalized for the thoughts that run through my head. They trample the slightest bit of every normal thought. They're nightmarish..." He exclaimed. "I don't think I've ever gotten a good night's sleep because of the constant stream of screwed up things running through my brain. It's like-" He hesitated.
His dark eyes squinted into the dark, as if trying to see something that wasn't there.
"It's like the thoughts make me the most cynical person in the world...." He trailed off.
He turned to her, only seeing the outline of her figure in the dingy passenger seat.
"You make me feel less cynical." He whispered.
She leaned in and placed her lips onto his, and that was when he knew he was where he needed to be.
Their foreheads connected as she breathed shallowly, absorbing every aspect of him.
"You make me feel less broken," She whispered
