The atmosphere between the three of us grew tense. My head dropped, and my eyes stared at the cement floor. I couldn't bare looking into his father's eyes. "I'm sorry," I suddenly said, interrupting the quiet area.
With a quick glance at the old man, I quickly walked away from the both of them, thinking they would need some time alone together. "Don't-" Taehyung's hand gripped onto my wrist. "Stay."
I shook my head in disagreement and used my other hand to pull myself away. "Let's talk later. I'll wait for you until you two are finished."
Quietly, I settled down on the swings and swung myself back and forth. They were unhearable but the look Taehyung's face told me that there was something he wanted to avoid.
Shortly, his sorrowful eyes met mine, and I couldn't help but have the same reaction. Slowly, I put on a smile, assuring him that everything would be okay.
The conversation between the two continued, and I grew afraid. His father didn't look very happy and looked as if he could yell at him and second now.
"Stay away from him if you want your memories back." He smirk crept on his face. "You wouldn't want to see him hurt now, do you?"
His voice echoed in my head, making me regret coming here with Taehyung. The old man already warned me. I didn't want to see Taehyung hurt.
"Let's go," said a sudden voice, grabbing my arm and pulling me off the swing. I stumbled a bit as I stood up.
"T-tae," I said as I tried to get his hand off me. His grip loosens as he hears me. Slowly, our steps became slower, and we came to a stop. "Where are we going?" I asked as he opened the car's door for me.
He didn't answer me. Instead, he waited by the door until I went in. Assuming he would talk to me in the car, I got into the car and he carefully closed it.
Once he entered the car, I looked at him, waiting for his answer. He drove right away without looking at me. Finally giving up, I turned my face away from him and looked out the window.
As I was about to knock out, a soft yet firm touch gingerly lied on top of my left hand. Unable to react, I lazily glance over at him. His eyes finally met my tired eyes. "We're almost there," he said softly, sounding as if he had just whispered.
Quickly, his eyes focused on the road as my eyes went down to our hands. He must've notice me staring and held it tighter.

"Why are we here?" I asked as the car stopped in front of the ocean. Cautiously, I went out of the car as I saw Taehyung open his door.
He looked over at me and gave me a smile. "This was where," I confessed to to you, "we met," he said. He smiled slightly and mumbled something that was unclear to me. "It was quite cheesy."
"The beach?" I asked, unamused. "What'd we do. Put sand in each other's hair?" I laughed suddenly and looked over at the horizon.
He glanced over the horizon and then to me again. "Wanna go for a walk?" He asked. Once my eyes stared back at his, he gave out a grin. "I'm getting the romantic vibes out here."
