I feel soft kisses to my neck. Hand glide down my sides, and comes to rest on my hips.

I shiver as another kiss is presses to my neck from behind.

"Stop." I mumble. "That tickles."

He does it again.

"You know you like it." He mumbles.

"Yeah, I do." I say. I'm cutting fruit for the Fourth of July party we're having today.

"So I should keep doing it." He mumbles. He kisses my neck again.

"Almond." I mumble. "Stop."

We're in Maine at Brody's grandmother's house with my whole family and his whole family for a giant party on an island. She lives right on the water. Madison is here with her whole family, too. We're all taking a boat. His grandmother, as I've been told, is fucking obsessed with Brody and I's relationship. She asked me and Brody to make the snacks. We're never really cooked together. Sure, we've had multiple dates. It's been seven months and a week and two days. We've done everything imaginable. A picnic by the fire, at the park, dinner dates, rollerblading, ice skating.

Hell, we had a date of his roof.

When people ask if we're in a serious relationship, we say yes. I'm so in love with him.

"Tell me what to do then." He says.

"Go make the spinach dip." I say.

He sighs softly.

"Okay."

Madison and Keith start dating and last month, they both vanished for two weeks, and came back married.

Brody and I make out a lot. We'll make out for hours. He's never seen me topless. He's never even seen me in a bikini before.

We go see Courtney every single day. She's so good in gymnastics.

Mrs. Marshall is even here, and so is Mrs. Lawrence.

I love this holiday.

Dad is the only one who knows how to drive a boat, so he's just gonna go back and forth to pick people up.

My entire family is fucking obsessed with Brody. He's so warmed up to them. My Dad and him are like best friends now.

Brody stands as close to me as he can to make the dip.

"Why are you standing so close?" I ask. His right arm is right against my left.

"Because you're a magnetic and I'm a magnet." He grins.

I laugh. This. The stupid adorable things he says, it's so cute.

"No you're not." I giggle.

Everyone is watching us because the kitchen is open to the living room.

"Yes." He says. "I am. Seriously, walk that way, but backwards so you can see."

"Okay, fine."

I start to back up. He follows me quickly, and I move faster, and he starts to move faster.

He accidently steps on my foot, and I start to fall.

He quickly shoots forward, catching me with ease. I lock my arms around his neck.

"See." He whispers. "I told you."

My family trusts him so much. If we started making out right now, they wouldn't even care. They know he respects my wishes.
