Levi's POV
*flashback*
"You need to kill her." The King said. Levi asked personally to speak to the king about Bliss.
"Your Highness, she is only 15. She has a whole life ahead of her." I said.
The king furrowed his eyebrows.
"I don't really care. What if she has more children in the future? They will be Titan-shifters as well. We don't need to risk that." The king argued.
I was furious. How could someone be so cold? "Sir, please! I will keep her with me at all times! She won't have any more kids! I will make sure of it!" I said.
"No is my final answer. You must kill her after she has the baby." The king said, "You are dismissed."
I stormed out of the throne room.
*flashback ends*
I woke in a cold sweat. Bliss is pregnant..her baby...will b-be a Titan-shifter. And of the King finds out she is alive...I'll be stripped of my title Lance Corporal. And he will kill her, and the baby.
I put a palm to my forehead. What have I done?
_Next Morning_
Everybody was loading up supplies on the wagon and getting on their horses. Of course Erwin made me watch them. The cadets were joking around so I had to yell at a few. Eren had jumped into Jeans back and instructed him to gallop around. But being Jean, he threw him off.
The medical team is heading this way. I could see Bliss talking to some tall guy. I focused back to the cadets. Mikasa had Jean in a headlock, I'm not even going to separate them. He had it coming anyways.
Eren departed to go talk to Bliss. They hugged she said something I couldn't make out. She wiped her face and let him go to his horse. This must be hard for her. And with the baby, she is extra emotional.
...
We left the walls and entered the titans territory. Hanji wanted to capture a titan...alive. She is mental, I tell you. We rode on for hours. My butt was sore from riding all day. The sun was beginning to set. "We are going to stop at that little town right there." Erwin said.
Bliss's POV
We stopped at a small town. It was completely abandoned. Everybody pitched tents and started talking about tomorrow. This would be the day that I 'find out I'm pregnant.' I sat quietly on my cot/bed. I wonder what they will do with me, once everyone knows.
I noticed a figure outside my tent. "Mom, can I come in?" I knew it was Eren. "Sure." I said. He walked in and sat on the bed/cot. "So...about the baby. What are your plans?" He asked.
"Oh, honey. I don't know. I'm afraid I'll be kicked out when they find out." I said.
"Well, it would be much safer for you." He said, "And I'll be okay. I promise."
"Eren, you don't understand. I need to protect you.....I'm gonna be the mother I wish I could of been." I said.
He tightly hugged me. "But I don't want anything to happen to you! Or my little brother or sister!" He said. My shirt was wet. My Eren was crying!
I wrapped my arms around him. "I'll be okay. I promise you! Nothing will happen to the baby. All I wanna do is keep you safe!" I said.
"But mom! I'm never safe. None of us are! No matter what you do, no one is ever safe." He said. I began to cry. I didn't want to believe it, but what he said is sadly true.
"Blis-" Levi was cut off by the sight of Eren and I. He barged into my tent too. "Is this a bad time?" He asked. I nodded.
"Too bad." Levi said.
"Corporal, if I may ask. Do you know what will happen once the pregnancy is out." I asked. He looked down.
"I should probably explain some thing to you. I wished I could of earlier. But I didn't want to scare you." Levi said.
Eren perked up, "Scare her?"
Levi sat on a nearby stool. "Bliss, I was given orders to kill you after you had Eren."
My eyes widen in shock. "What?! Why!?" I almost yelled. Eren had almost the same expression as I.
"Well, I tried to convince the King otherwise but he said no." Levi said.
"The k-King?" I stuttered.
He nodded. "Bliss, I didn't have the heart to kill you. So, that's why I brought you home. Didn't you ever wonder why I was your only escort?"
*flashback*
Levi's POV
"Bliss, I'm sorr-" I was cut off.
"But Corporal, please! I hate my parents! They will just throw me onto the streets! Can't you feel just a little bit of empathy for me?!" Bliss said.
Goddamn teenagers, always getting their way. But what she said is true. If I take her back, we will both be killed. And if I put her with her parents, she will be all alone. They don't even fed her I bet. Poor girl was basically starving when he mom brought her to the titan research base.
That's probably why she agreed to be an experiment in return for food and shelter.
"Corporal, your my only friend! Please!" She begged. I remained emotionless. She even hugged me and cried into my shirt. Her 4'9 frame allowed her too. I gave in a rubbed her back. "Bliss, just listen. Okay?" I began, "I'm very sorry this has to happen. But we can't keep you there forever. I'll come and visit you someday, okay?"
She let go. "Corporal, I- I'm gonna just be married off and I'll never see you again, or Eren! ." Bliss said.
"I'll see you again someday, somehow. Eren is safe with his adoptive parents." I said. She said goodbye and went into her house. Her mom will have quite the surprise in the morning.
*flashblack ends*
Bliss's POV
"So why were you given those orders." I asked.
"Because if you had anymore kids, they will be titan-shifters a well as Eren." Levi said.
I put a hand on my stomach. This is one too. "So, my baby will be a titan shifter." I asked.
Levi nodded.
"All they know is that your name is Bliss. They don't know who you really are, except Hanji and Petra of course. They noticed you when the medical team arrived." Levi said.
"But they respect me too much to say anything." Levi said.
"So were safe?" Eren said.
"For now." Levi said.
