Riley's POV

Since it is Halloween, tonight there is a party at the studio. Everyone jas been buzzing about it for weeks - Halloween's a pretty big deal for us. The main reason we were so excited was for the costumes.  Childish as it sounds, we all really loved dressing up. I have been planning my costume for a while now, making sure it was perfect... 

And my planning had paid off..

I stand in front of the mirror in my bedroom, staring at my reflection.

"Well damn." I mutter, as I continue looking. I stare for a bit longer, not fulling believing that the person in the mirror was me. It was a completely different look to what I usually wore when I went out and when I was at the studio. I looked different but it was a good different though.. And I was really liking this look. I was just hoping everyone would agree..

I stop admiring at myself in the mirror and walk over to where I had left my phone. Picking it up, I check the time quickly... then sigh. Only 10 minutes until James came to pick me up..

I had nothing to do so I started to scroll through all my pictures, laughing at how many there were. Most of them were of James and I. We took so many pictures that I'm surprised that we have any storage left. Sometimes Emily would catch me staring at them and tease me about it for days... The rest were pictures of the girls.. Whenever I wasn't at the studio, with James or with my family, I was with them. We were all really good friends so they were surprised when I rejected their offer of a pre-party hangout/costume reveal. I wanted James to be the first person who saw my costume.

My phone buzzed, with a message from the girls group chat that we had.

Chloe: Ri, can you please tell us what your costume is?

I sigh. They have been asking that for a while now, but I wasn't telling them.

Me: Nope, you'll see it at the party ;)

Amanda: If you tell us what you're wearing, we'll tell you what we're wearing..

If I was being honest, I didn't really care what they were wearing.. I was more focused on myself, as selfish as it sounded.

Me: Nice try, still not happening..

Giselle: You'll never guess what I am.. 😆

Me: Hmm.. A mermaid?

Giselle: Damn, how did you know? Wait.. It's the hair isn't it..

Emily: Riley, you'd better not be a medieval princess.. We can't be twins..

Chloe: Or a nurse. Nurse Riley just doesn't go.. Nurse Chloe is better. No offence babe.

Emily: I SWEAR TO GOD RILEY IF YOUR DRESSED LIKE A STRIPPER.. I mean I know you and James are in love and all.. and you two have a.... very physical relationship but NO. NO STRIPPERS PLEASE

Giselle: Wait.. jiley have a physical relationship?

Amanda: Yeah duh, where have you been Giselle ?
