Chapter Theme: The Cure - Pictures of You

"Now listen girls. It's time we discuss this fight of yours," Simon said, his hands pressed firmly together. He sat at his desk, with his elbows on the surface. All the girls looked at one another. Camilas gaze remained on the floor. She knew what they were all thinking.

"Camila started it!" Normani yelled, making the rest of the girls chuckle quietly. Simon scowled at their childish behavior. Lauren looked down, momentarily taking a peek at Camila. The green eyed sighed at the memories of her and Camila before their setback.

"Mani, knock it off. I believe she's had enough," Ally spoke. Normani shrugged, but kept her mouth shut.

"Camila, would you care to explain?" Simon looked expectantly at the brunette. She did nothing but stand in the middle of the room in silence. Lauren looked at Dinah and Dinah made a lopsided face.

"Um, I'll explain," Lauren croaked. She straightened her shirt and appeared in front of Simon's desk.

Lowering her voice, Lauren looked at Simon and started to explain.

"Camila cheated on me...," Lauren said, holding back the tears in her emerald eyes. Simon's face grew long. He had little tolerance for cheaters and Lauren knew that. He shot Camila a glance and she started to sob.

"When did this happen?" Simon asked. Lauren cleared her throat and shook her head. A tear trailed down her cheek. Simon got the jist and dropped the subject. But, he knew that he couldn't just drop it. The rest of the girls would never forgive Camila, he knew. And for Lauren, she may never be able to trust anyone again.

"Well is that it then?" Simon asked all of the girls. They knew exactly what that meant. Normani was the first to shake her head. Ally and Dinah followed in unison. For the first time today Camila looked at one of the other girls. One girl in particular. Lauren.

Lauren caught Camilas gaze. Camila felt a palpitation in her heart. Lauren felt it too, but ignored it immediately.

The rest of the girls waited for Lauren and Camila to nonverbally answer. Lauren was the first to answer, out of the two. They tried to wait for Camila, but it was a lost cause. Camila didn't want this to end, despite all the heartbreak she caused Lauren. She was too selfish to let the girls go.

"Alright then girls," Simon stated. The girls were dead silent. A chill swept the room. Fifth Harmony was no longer in harmony.
