Chapter Theme: Metro Station - She Likes Girls

Lauren was at work. At her new job, she was always gets flagged down by unwanted men. They obviously can't tell she likes women. She doesn't at exactly look like she likes that same sex, because of her feminine appearance. But, anyone who knows Lauren knows how infatuated she is with girls.

She was at her desk, sketching an outline of a building lowly. Lauren never adds color to her art. She prefers things in shades, rather than colors. The reason being is she finds the beauty in the depressing, monochrome silence.

As Lauren was drawing, her cute co-worker walked in through the front doors. This was the girl Lauren so fondly remembers. She was absolutely stunning. Her eyes were dark, mysterious and captivating. Her dark, almond locks fell over one of the sides of her face, with a side part, that made her look somewhat punk. Lauren liked that.

"Why hello, Ms. Jauregui," The girl said, a bit too suggestively. Lauren bit her lip at the girl's words. Today, her small coworker was looking extremely hot. Lauren crossed her legs and stopped eyeing the girl.

"Hello, Giselle. How are you," Lauren winked at her. Giselle blushed crimson. Suddenly, Lauren got up from her resting position, grabbed Giselle with two hands and kissed her hard. Giselle acted surprised, but instantly eased into the kiss. Lauren licked her bottom lip, asking for entrance, which Giselle obliged willingly. Soon the kiss became heated, and Lauren realized that they were at work. So with a last peck, Lauren unattached her lips from Giselles, and smiled expectantly at her. Giselles eyes were still closed, and Lauren laughed a hearty laugh, throwing her head back.

"Wow Jauregui, you've still got it in you," Giselle said, Lauren smirked while raising her eyebrow. The other girls were right, Lauren has still got it. In fact, girls could not keep their hands off of Lauren. She knew this, but didn't exactly like to think about it. Lauren didn't always like being objectified as a player, because she wasn't. Actually, she was the exact opposite. Lauren had only had one girlfriend in her entire existence.

"Is that right? I don't think I'm that good, to be honest," Lauren stated, making Giselle raise her eyebrows in disbelief.

"Oh my God, you're delirious Lauren. You're the best I've ever had. You have completely changed my life," Giselle over exaggerated, trying to sound serious. Lauren giggled. Giselle started tickling Laurens sides, making her shake violently. Lauren started to laugh hard, saying, "NO!" and, "STOP!" occasionally. Eventually they stopped, because Lauren had to answer the ringing phone.

"Don't you think I'm done with you, Jauregui," Giselle teased, Lauren stuck her tongue out, before answering the phone.

"Hello, Miami Architectural, how can I help you?" Lauren chirped, in her most polite voice possible.

"Yes, hi, I'm a new resident here, I mean in Miami. Gosh, I'm so stupid, fuck. Oops, sorry," The speaker mumbled, causing Lauren to laugh. The speaker gasped loudly. Lauren stopped laughing, thinking something was wrong.

"Are you alright? How can I help you?" Lauren said, more humanly this time. The speaker cleared her throat.

"Oh, yeah. Um, can I schedule you to come and make a sketch of my house, I um just bought one and I'd like you to come and look at it, so you can put in your two cents," The girl said. Lauren chuckled. This girl obviously knew nothing about architecture. Nonetheless, Lauren would agree anyways to go and meet with her.

"Alright, no problem. When would you like to schedule an appointment?" Lauren asked, heading over to the computer, so she could right a log.

"As soon as possible," The speaker answered quickly. Lauren checked her schedule. She was free for the next ten hours, which was remarkable, seeing she is the most popular architect in Miami.

"How about today, 4:30 p.m.?" Lauren questioned.

"That's perfect," The speaker confirmed.

"Great, I will be over in an hour," Lauren spoke, saving her appointment date in her log, and shutting off her computer.

"Thank you, L-," The voice spoke. Lauren stopped moving. This person knew her name. She shook her head, thinking nothing of it, since she was very well know in this town.

"Um, okay, I'll see you later. Goodbye," Lauren said quickly. She hung up on the girl, and put the phone down. Giselle looked at her expectantly. Lauren shrugged at her. Giselle walked over quickly, continuing to tickle her.

"No, not the time, I've got work to attend to," Lauren groaned. Giselle made a sad face. So, Lauren gathered her up in a tight hug, and kissed her temple.

Lauren let go of the small girl, and bent over to grab her bag. Giselle smacked her butt, laughing. Lauren got up quickly, blushing.

"Hey now, be good. I gotta go," Lauren scolded. Giselle walked up and kissed her. Lauren kissed back, but not long. She was eager to go and meet this person who knew her name.

"Bye," Giselle said. Lauren waved, leaving out the door. She ran to her car. And drove speedily to the address the woman on the phone had sent her.

This woman lived in upskrit Miami. Everything here was pretty nice. Expensive homes, nice values, great color scales; everything Lauren had admired about houses. She liked driving passed the families that were out playing. It reminded her of her old childhood. She looked down at the address once again and realized something she hadn't before. This house was her parents first house they had together. She almost lost her grip on the steering wheel. Quickly, she pulled over to the pavement.

Regaining her composure, she remembered what had happened there. Her parents had a miscarriage with her eldest brother there. She didn't know how to react. Lauren had never been in that house personally, but she certainly remembered how her parents described it. That was why they left, they thought it would be bad to try and have another child in that house. Her parents thought it was bad luck.

Lauren swerved back into the lane, and continued her journey to that house. She pushed the speed a bit, anxious to arrive. It took her twenty minutes, but she eventually arrived. Pulling into the driveway, she observed a silver Audi parked in front, by the garage. She winced. Camila and her used to make out in Camilas old Audi.

Lauren turned off the car and grabbed her bag, getting out of the car. She walked up to the front doorsteps and rang the doorbell. In a matter of seconds someone opened the door. Lauren's heart stopped at who it was.

"Hello, Lauren," Camila greeted.

Hey guys! I'm sorry for not updating, but I hope this makes up for it. I've been going through some tough shit lately and I know that I did publish another story before updating, but I am truly sorry about that. That story is more for my piece of mind, and I only published it, bc writing helps with my depression. It'd be really nice if you read it and gave feedback. Anyway, what do you think of this chapter? For the past couple of days, I was deciding on how I should write it. I settled on this. I like it. I hope ya'll do too.

I love you bb's
