Ethan:

You were at school and you were super excited cause first and last period you had a lesson with your crush, mason. He was the schools popular guy and he got all the girls. Sometimes he'd flirt with you and call you 'babe'. Even though, you kinda knew he was joking around, you thought you might still have a chance.

"Hey Mason!" You say happily to him as he sits next to you.
"Uh hey....?" He waited for you to give your name.
"Y/n? We've known eachother since we were 5." You say ignoring his rudeness. He rolled his eyes and played with his pencil.

"okay students, class is dismissed." Your teacher announced.

This is it. I'm gonna make my move.

"Uh so mason, do you like wanna go get a coffee or something later?" You asked him while he messed around with his friends. Suddenly everyone's eyes were on you two.

"Look y/n I think you got the wrong impression... Sorry but uh I have to uh do some stuff." He walked away from you as everyone belted out with laughter. You ran out of class and hid yourself in the girls bathroom. You cried your eyes out until you heard a familiar voice.

"Y/n, I know you're in here.." Ethan, your best friend, spoke.

"Go away!" You said as you heard him walk to the cubicle you were in.

"Come on out. I'm not leaving." He said soothingly.

You sighed as you slowly unlocked the door. You picked up your backpack and walked back to him. He pulled you into a tight hug.

"Tell me what happened." He said wiping away your tears.

"Okay but can we get out of here..." You both lightly laughed when you realized that some girls were looking at you two with confused expressions.

You both go to your locker since you needed to put some stuff away.

"Okay, so now will you tell me?" He said impatiently.

You took a deep breath.

"Soinfirstperiodmasonsatnexttomeandithoughthelikedmesoiaskedhimifhewouldgogetcoffeewithmebutherejectedmeinfrontofeveryoneandnowimcrying." You sighed. And then cried some more.

Ethan finally caught on and rubbed your back.

"Listen to me. You're a beautiful and intelligent girl. He's honestly just rejected the most perfect girl ever and he's a real douchebag. In any case, Masons a fuckboy who needs to control his hornyness." You giggled at the last part of his 'speech'.

"Thanks eth. I just feel like I need to find a way to get him to like me. Do you think I should dye my hair?" You asked him biting on your thumbnail.

"No! Y/n! Did you not just hear anything I said?! You're stunning just the way you are! I wouldn't change you for the world!" He ranted on.

"I love you." He quietly mumbled.
"I love you more." You replied.

You smashed your lips onto his and pushed your body against the lockers. You both pulled out at the same time.

"To tell the truth, I'm kinda glad he didn't choose you, more for me." He winked at you.

Grayson:

You were sleeping over at your best friend, Grayson's house. You both were on your phones. He was probably tweeting some fans and stuff but you were having a conversation with this guy that you really liked. His name was Kai. He seemed really nice.

You: hey kai x

Kai: hey x

You: hru? x

Kai: alright thanks u? x

You: I'm good thankyou. So um I know this is kinda weird but I think I like you. x

Your heart was racing fast as you waited impatiently for his reply. You tapped your finger against the coffee table.

"Hey y/n, you okay?" Grayson laughed at your behaviour.
"No ugh Kai's taking forever to reply. I told him that I liked him." You said still looking at your phone.

Kai: uh do you mean like a friend way? :/

Your heart shattered into a million pieces by then.

You: uh no but nvm.

Kai: sorry I just don't feel the same way :/

You suddenly threw your phone across the room and flipped your body over so that you were lying on your tummy. You cried and cried into the pillow.

"Aw no, y/n! What did he say?" Grayson asked his gentle hand stroking your hair.

You pointed towards your, probably smashed, phone. He picked it up and unlocked it. He read the messages and clenched his jaw.

"Y/n, I knew this kid wasn't right for you. He's a real idiot and it's a shame that he had to start talking to you in the first place. None of this would have happened if it wasn't for him. Believe me, you're gorgeous and beautiful and funny and kind and caring." You looked up at him, taking in every word.

"I love the way you rap to nicki minaj when you're happy. I love the way you play with your hair when you're nervous. I love the way you dance in the mirror. I love everything about you." He spoke. You sat up in utter shock.

Grayson Dolan, your best friend of over 10 years has just said he loves you?

"Grayson Bailey Dolan. Why do you have to be such a beautiful human being?" You both laughed.

"I hate it when you're upset." He said under his breath.
"And I hate the fact that I haven't kissed you yet." You say immediately grabbing his undivided attention.

You both leaned in and then well, it was like a billion fireworks had just been fed some caffeine. It was perfect.

You both spent the afternoon bitching about Kai and talking about silly memories you had together as kids.
