Sunlight seeped through her light green window curtain and Alissa turned over, facing the opposite wall.

She finally decided it was time to get up, her only motivation to use the bathroom.

The clock on her nightstand read 3:18 PM. She didn't dare to look at her phone.

It was probably dead, she thought, sitting unplugged all night. Not that she cared.

She stumbled toward the bathroom, not used to standing up in over eighteen hours. She leaned against the hallway wall to steady herself and took a deep breath.

I'm so pathetic, she thought.

After using the bathroom, she headed back to her room. Alissa saw the clammy pizza slices and her stomach growled.

Cold pizza for the morning. Great, she thought.

Her cell phone surprisingly dinged. Alissa glanced at it and saw a text message from Diego.

Hey, I was wondering if you wanted to grab a bite to eat tonight?

Did he want to date her? Well, he didn't know she cheated with him on Marc.

She couldn't face anyone this weekend. Not after Marc.

She sighed and ignored the text as she ate the clammy pizza.

Once she finished eating, she laid back on her bed.

She wondered what Marc was doing.

She wondered what Marc even thought of her now...
