Chapter 16

She pondered her thoughts the whole way there and i hold her hand. I feel bad that i wasn't there but i dont ask. Once we get home i pick her up and we cuddle on the couch. She kisses my neck and i kiss the top of her head and smile. We cuddle for awhile more and she sniffles so i know she still crying and i feel awful. Silently tears fall from my face. She moves slightly and i get up and hide my face. i go to the bathroom and to get a grip and i hear her go to the bedroom. Once my eyes clear i come out and go to the bedroom where i see her laying down. "Goodnight Sweetheart I love you" i squeak and go to the couch where i cry some more. She will be hungry once she wakes up. I get up and start to make food whatever to distract myself from all this. After a while of me cooking i hear her shuffle and stretch. My eyes still tear but i try and hide it. After she goes to the bathroom she walks over "Baby whats wrong?"I jump not expecting her to say anything.  We kiss each other and I say nothing. She touches one of the old hickies and I cringe but I smile too. "Morning Miss Painful. Food?" I tease. At least she is better and not in tears. She nods and I plate the both of us. I sit down and she sits on top of me on my lap and we feed each other and smile. Missing on purpose. Having fun and smiling.
