We go down this dirt road and she sets up blankets and pillows in the backend. She tells me she was late because of her mom and the baby. I tell her that I just played games and waited. I didn't tell her I cried because i dont want to seem weak. She shivers and cuddles with me. I dont move. I dont mind. She still asks if I do and i answer truthfully and say no. But i still wonder about one thing. She asks what it is and i dont tell her straight out but i try to continue. "Lilly," she looks up and stares into my eyes but i dont dare to talk or move for fear or her seeing me cry. "Lilly Anna, I have one question and i want the answer to be truthful, no lies." I tense when she tries to back away but i bring her close and trying to tell her its okay i dont want her to leave. I continue "I want you to look up at the and focus on my chest, up and down, rise and fall," i try to make her relax and she does as she is told. I wait a few moments to focus on on my breathing and make sure she is too and i continue even more. "I love you Lilly Anna, Will you be my girlfriend?" i finish and prepare for the worst.
