Rukia.

She hadn't noticed me yet. But I watched her from the moment she woke up. Never taking my eyes off of her.

I was afraid I would lose her again.

She was... I can't believe I'm admitting this. But she is beautiful.

I hadn't seen her much before I was possessed and manipulated by Yhwach. But she had gotten so much stronger.

And I was watching her in the battlefield. Fighting. She was faster than ever.

I had sensed the reiatsus of many appearing. I sensed the Soul Queen's in the midst of it.

But my attention was still on Rukia.

I watched her in her dark bankai state, as she easily dodged the attacks of the sternritter.

I had already taken down one of the sternritter that attacked me, while Rukia was already taking down her third. I watched as she froze it, and with a simple touch with her hand the ice shattered, with the sternritter inside it.

I was distracted by watching her that I hadn't noticed a sternritter approaching me, until Rukia's eyes landed on the figure approaching me.

Rukia was in front of me in an instant, freezing the sternritter midair.

And then she whipped her head around to look at me for the first time.

I felt a burning impact on my face as I was thrown back. I cupped my hand over my cheek, feeling a dark bruise form.

I lifted my head up, seeing a frightening Rukia hovering above me.

Her eyes were narrowed into slits as she glared down at me.

Oh. Rukia had just kicked me in the face.

Instead of glaring at her back, I smiled up at her.

Glad she was back to herself.

Rukia's eyes widened slightly, before they narrowed again.

"What the hell do you think you're doing, standing around like a freaking idiot? Idiot!" Rukia yelled, pressing her right foot on his chest.

I narrowed my eyes at her.

I gripped her foot, pulling her down to me. Her eyes widened as she realized what I was doing, so she lifted her other foot up, kicking me across the face again. I groaned in pain, gripping my now other bruised cheek, as she pulled her foot from my hand.

"What the hell are you doing, pervert?!" Rukia yelled. I sat up, now annoyed.

Im glad she's alive. But now she's just testing what little patience I have.

"What the hell are you doing kicking me in the face, idiot?!" I screamed back.

"You were staring at me like a freaking creep, pervert!"

"Stop calling me pervert! And I was not!"

"PERVERT! And you have been ever since I woke up! Quit acting like a fool and stop looking at me!"
