Ichigo Kurosaki

Words can't describe what I am feeling right now.

Being in Rukia's soul; it heightened my emotions while purifying my soul.

She really was, is, the light in my world.

That's why I can't live without her.

It is pointless to try and hide and deny my feelings any longer.

And Rukia didn't even know of the way I truly felt about her yet.

It felt like a thousand years has passed since the last time I saw the real Rukia.

And that was when I had just watched her die at my hand. Not a fond memory I like to think of.

Rukia just continued to look at me, her expression unsure. I smiled at her as I took a few more steps just to get closer to her.

When I stopped a foot from her, my eyes widened as she lifted up her fist. I blinked, my head snapping (literally) to the side as a stinging impact was left on my cheek.

Rukia had punched me. I don't know why.

But it felt good.

I turned my head back to her face, smirking in amusement at her upset expression, her eyes narrowed into slits at me.

"What the hell are you doing here, baka?!" She asked, that familiar tone of frustration in her voice.

But I could tell, her voice sounded slightly distressed.

She was worried.

"I needed to see you."

Rukia scoffed, rolling her eyes.

"Quit acting like that. Its weird. And not to mention, creepy."

My smile widened. This really was Rukia.

Her lip twitched upward in annoyance.

"Quit smiling at me like that! You creep!" She snapped.

I reached out to her with my right hand, her eyes widening at my actions. I gripped her side underneath her left arm, sliding my hand over to the small of her bare back, pulling her into me.

She tensed at my sudden action. I snaked my other arm over the back of her shoulders, gripping her upper side as my other hand ran over her smooth back.

I locked her in my embrace, not wanting to let her go. Again.

Rukia relaxed under my touch after a few silent moments. I heard her sigh as her small arms snaked around my back.

She returned my hug with only slight hesitation.

"Its really you." I breathed out in relief.

"Of course its me, idiot. Who else would it be?" She asked with her sassy tone.

I chuckled. "I missed you."

She tensed once again, but this time at my words.

I hadn't realized what I had said before it was too late; but I didn't care anymore. Its pointless to hide my feelings from Rukia.

I was just nervous she didn't feel the same.

I told who I thought was Rukia but was Yhwach all along what I felt for her.
