"Rukia's right. She's not leaving. Because I want her." The girl they called Giselle said.

"She is not involved in this!" Ichigo snapped.

"If it involves you, Ichigo, I am automatically involved in this." I looked up into his eyes. There was no way I would be leaving him here with these creepy sternritter.

"You guys can take care of her. I want Ichigo." The long blonde said.

"Come on, Candice! You always pick the good ones for yourself!" The pink haired one said.

"Liltotto and Giselle obviously want Ichigo's girlfriend. You could join me, Meninas, or help them kill his sidekick."

My eyebrow twitched in annoyance.

I am not, and won't ever be his girlfriend. Besides, Ichigo doesn't think of me that way.

"Shut up!" I yelled.

That shut them up. They looked down me, surprised. I could feel a Candice's scowl on me.

"She's feisty. Oh, that just turns me on!" Giselle cried out, squeezing the girl's body that was still carrying her.

My eyes widened. Disgusting.

"You will all die before you ever lay a hand on Rukia." Ichigo warned them.

"Aw. How precious!" Meninas, the pink haired sternritter said.

I moved from Ichigo's side, appearing beside Meninas.

It all happened in a split second.

Before she, or anyone could react, her body was in frozen pieces around me.

I was done with their arguing and talking.

I felt their reiatsu spike in anger. I spun around, aiming my blade at Liltotto. I watched as her mouth extended, coming closer to me.

But I enclosed the distance around us as I pierced my zanpakuto through her heart.

The extended skin of her mouth fell. I could feel the ice freezing her from the inside out, withdrawing my zanpakuto from her chest as she froze before me, then shattering into pieces.

There. Two annoying sternritter that are taken care of.

I heard Candice's scream of anger. I moved my head to her direction, lifting my zanpakuto and pointing it at her.

Bur Ichigo was at my side, enveloping me in his arms as he pulled me from where I stood, to the other side.

"Ichigo! What are you doing?" I snapped, pushing him from me.

"You were too distracted to sense that the other one was right behind you."

My eyes widened. I looked back to where I stood before Ichigo had taken me away.

And he was right. Giselle was there, with her pet zombie girl at her side.

And Candice was standing in front of them, fuming with anger.

"Giselle." I heard her say.

"Yes, Candice."

"Take control of her and make her die the most painful death possible."

"Playing with your prey?"

"As if you don't do the same thing!" Candice snapped at her.

Giselle just laughed.
