Yoo In Na tried to hide her surprise. She had been trying to hide her annoyance when she saw that Hyun Woo and her Eun Hye was dancing like couples in the dance floor. The nerve of this guy! She was seething when she saw him flirting with her best friend. He even hugged and kissed her! And to think that they had.. they had…
“Are you alright? You look red.” Ji Hoon even touched her forehead. “And you’re a bit warm too.”
In Na sighed. “Nah, just tired. It feels kind of stuffy suddenly.”
“You want me to take you home? You’ve been working hard for this party… It’s okay for you to leave early.” The Ji Hoon looked at something from behind her. She turned around and saw Hyun Woo smiling at her.
“Yoo In Na-ssi, may I have the honor of this dance?”
She felt that Ji Hoon is starting to protest for he moved closer behind her. “I don’t think In Na-ssi..” But looking up at those warm, smiling brown eyes, it was as if they were the only people in the room. She unconsciously put her hands into his and he gently hoisted her up to his arms. He guided her at the center of the small lights and started to sway with the music, he guiding her. She surprisingly found her at last and it was like a small croak. “Have you been enjoying the party,so far?”
“How could I not?You prepared it.”
In Na looked away. She saw Ji Hoon talking with Eun Hye and he looked as if he was scolding her. Eun Hye on the other hand looked amused. Hyun Woo looked at the direction she is looking at. “Our friends looked good together,don’t you think so?”
“Why do you say so?”
“I haven’t seen my friend rattled like that. And Eun Hye looking she’s enjoying herself..”
“You like my friend?”
“Yes. She’s funny and have a great insight. She did me a very huge favor today, by the way.”
In Na must have frowned because Hyun Woo moved his head closer and on the same level as hers. “Why the face In Na?”
“We only met yesterday, Mr. Ji, and you’re already calling me by my first name…”
Hyun Woo laughed. He took her chin and made her look at him on the eyes. “Something already happened between us. Can’t I speak informal now?” He pulled her closer and she felt him hardened. In Na looked at him questioningly. “Ah,love, that’s what you’re doing to me. And much more. You’re under my skin, in my blood. You’re in my system and it’s like you’re going to stay there for a while.” In Na just looked at him and felt the intensity of his words. She placed her head on his chest and he gently led her into dancing.
“In Na I have to talk to you about something…important. Could we talk somewhere privately?”
“well, we’re talking.”
“Not here. Somewhere we will not be overheard.”
In Na looked at the house. “Well, I share office with Yunho so..”
“Let’s just go into mine.”
“Okay.”
Hyun Woo looked at their table and saw that Eun Hye had Jin Ae on her arms and is trying to annoy Ji Hoon. He had caught Ji Hoon looking at them for some time now and if looks could kill, he could be dead by now. He smiled. So when Ji Hoon’s attention was caught by Jin Ae, he twirled In Na around and danced towards the edge of the garden near the house so they could slip unnoticed.
They directly went up to Hyun Woo’s office which was vacant for 2 years and only was occupied by his assistant foreman. It was clean,for Yunho always has it cleaned so when they entered, Hyun Woo locked the door behind her. He pushed her on the door and leaned closer to her. ‘Before we talk, I’ve been wanting to do this since I saw you today,god, I missed you so much.” He kissed her passionately, savagely, gently, then she was lost. She has to hang on to him tightly for her knees felt it melted.
“In Na…”
In Na have to gasped for her breath after the kiss. Hyun Woo was smiling down at her but he looked…different. He looked like he was going to cry.
“Hyun Woo what’s wrong?”
“Could you forgive me? Would you ever forgive me?”
“Hyun Woo…?I don’t understand you… What is there to forgive?”
He hugged In Na tightly and when he lets her down, he didn’t let her go.
“In Na… that summer, two years ago…that was me.”
