Eun Hye is amused. In Na and Hyun Woo have suddenly disappeared from the dance floor and Ji Hoon looks angry. Livid even. He keeps on looking around, crackling his knuckles. The couple have removed themselves from their presence for about 30 minutes now, and Ji Hoon is not reassured even a bit. He knew Hyun Woo inside out, and he won’t let In Na get away if he decided that he likes her. “Say,” Ji Hoon suddenly said, surprisng Eun Hye, “what were you talking about earlier? I saw you with Hyun Woo, he even hugged you.”
Eun Hye shrugged, ” I don’t know it myself. We were just talking about you, In Na, and their baby then out of nowhere…”
“What did you say about me?!” , Ji Hoon’s voice a little octave higher.
Eun Hye shrugged again, just to irritate him. “Nothing. just that you love In Na. but In Na is cautious because of her past.”
“Then why…”
“Oh,,” Eun Hye surprised herself for not able to get it immediately.
“What?!” Ji Hoon leaned closer, making his face just a mere inch from Eun Hye’s face.
“I… I mentioned that In Na didn’t know Jin Ae’s father… and that…”
“And then what?!”
“Would you please stop glowering at me? I can’t think straight!”
Ji Hoon leaned back to his seat and smiled sardonically at his nurse. She is beautiful tonight, on her modest peach dress that falls below her knee. Her hair was combed into one side and clipped by a pin. And her lips? Orange-colored lipstick. His mouth started to water. She looks delicious enough to be devoured and yet, his charm isn’t working with this woman.
“Well?”
“Well, what?”
“What were you saying earlier?”
“Oh. I was saying… that we, I mean, In Na met Jin Ae’s father at Richard’s, you know the steak House? But…”
“What?! You were there…? When?”
“Around two years ago…I don’t know the exact date!”
“So you mean to say that.. In Na doesn’t even know who the guy was?”
“Well, yes I think so. Because of course we tried to look for him but Richard said he didn’t know the guy. “
Ji Hoon felt his strength leaving him. It can’t be. It can’t be that night…it can’t be In Na…and Hyun Woo. Hyun Woo didn’t who the woman was, Richard didn’t say so even after prodding. But if it were true…god, he doesn’t want to think about it.
Eun Hye was looking at Ji Hoon queerly. His face had changed many times in a span of a minute. He looked surprised, angry, disappointed, doubtful, then thoughtful. Eun Hye is not stupid. With all the pieces going around, and based on the two guys expressions… it only meant two things. One, that they have been there too at Richards,maybe at the same time they were there (but there’s a possibility that they are not) and that Hyun Woo is Jin Ae’s father. Or maybe not. She felt down with that fact, if it’s true. She is rather attracted to the new stranger in town, nd before she could fall in love with him, she’s already heartbroken. Because Hyun Woo is obviously have feelings to In Na. She suddenly stood up, surprising Ji Hoon.
“We can’t just sit here and fool ourselves. Where’s your keys? C’mon. I’ll leave Jin Ae to Seung Ho and Ji Eun.”
“Where are we going?”
“To Richard’s. To get some answers.”
