It was only one peaceful day in Lily's life as Hugo, Rose and Lily herself let themselves to rest for a day after the long night, when Rose didn't talk to both of them.

It was early in the morning on the first of November. "I've got a plan," Rose whispered. The trio huddled together to discuss. "Let's do it," Lily muttered. "It will work," she assured herself, though unconvinced.

Lily felt hundreds and thousands of knots tying in her stomach. Maybe it was her nerves.

"Lily, why are you staying behind? Are there some questions that you want to ask me? I am glad to answer your question you have! Ah! Just like Harry and Lily, potions genius! Well, what's the matter, my girl?" Professor Slughorn chuckled.

"Yes," Lily said quietly. She was still nervous. Was this going to work out well? Or... She knew the consequences were going to be tedious. "Why is a bezoar well at healing potions."

Anyone normal who saw them together would think that a bright and curious student was asking her potions professor some questions. But for the three of them, they were not. They were buying time.

Lily received a wink from Rose. They were ready. She thanked the professor and walked away, careful not to let Slughorn catch sight of Rose and Hugo.

"Do I have to change into someone? I don't want to..." Hugo said.

"No, you don't. One person has to stay in Gryffindor, so you can be that person." Rose said. "We just need a Ravenclaw's hair and a Hufflepuff's hair. Then our work will be done."

"I can be Carolina from Hufflepuff. She is having transfiguration with me later," Lily offered.

"Okay. I'm going to be Callum from Ravenclaw. He is having detention until nine. Nobody knows it except for the Professors, he hardly tells anybody anything, I overheard it when he stayed after Defence Against Dark Arts."

"What about me? Do I have to hide?" Hugo questioned.

"No, silly. You are going to be in your own house! Just pretend to be asleep and look carefully to whom the Antonin person is transforming magic from that red pearl." Rose answered impatiently. "I have to go to lessons now."

"Transfiguration is magic that focuses on the alteration of the appearance of an object, well mostly because not every one of them can be transfigured." Professor McGonagall lectured the class.

"Now... I'm going to do it now. I'm going to brush Carolina's hair silently. See? She's putting all her attention on McGonagall now. Again." Lily leaned over to Hugo and whispered.

"Potter, stop talking." Professor McGonagall barked. Lily could clearly hear the Slytherins snigger.

Lily knew it was now or never. Swiftly she reached up and brushed Carolina's hair.

"Hey! What are you doing to my hair?"

"Potter! What are you doing?"

Murmurs arose from the class. "I've got it," she told Hugo. It could barely be heard because of the commotion.

"Well, I saw something in her hair so I tried to brush it away," Lily lied.

"Another five points from Gryffindor for that. Ask before you do something."

"At least I've got the hair."
