Through the Years (James Sirius)

The train was absolutely full. No compartments were empty. I see a compartment that I think I would ask to join. I open the compartment door, "May I join you? Everywhere else is full" I ask a boy sitting alone in the compartment. "Sure. My name is James Potter. My dad is Harry Potter" he answers. "My name is (y/n) (y/l/n)" I say back to him. "I'm going into my first year" I tell him, trying to start a conversation. "Me too" he answers. I could tell that this was going to be a wonderful friendship.

**Time Skip to the Sorting Ceremony**

"Potter, James" a elderly woman calls out. I believe her name is McGonagall. I see James walk up to the stool, and the Sorting Hat was placed on his head. A moment later, the Hat shouted "Gryffindor!!". I clap for James as he sits at the table.
"(y/n) (y/l/n)" she calls out and I walk nervously to the stool. I see James give me a thumbs up before the Hat is placed above my head. It was so big, it drapes over my eyes. "Brave and loyal, and also kind and would be there for anyone who needed you. Hufflepuff or Gryffindor?" it asked, seeming to ask for my opinion. "Gryffindor" I whisper to the Hat so no one heard me. "Well then, Gryffindor!!" the Hat shouts, and McGonagall takes the Hat off of my head. I walk over to my cheering table, and sit beside James.

**Time Skip to 3 Years Later**

"Hey" I say, sitting beside with James. "Hello, (y/n)" he says as I sit beside him. I notice a few others in the compartment with us. "Mind introducing me?" I ask, motioning to the other people in the compartment. "Oh, yeah. This is my sister, Lily, and my cousins, Rose and Hugo Weasley". "Hello" they said as James said their name. "Everyone, this is (y/n)" he said. "Hello" I replied to everyone.

"Well, I have to go change, so I'll be back in a few" I say, excusing myself to get changed. "I'm going to change too" James says, getting up and getting his robes. "Okay, come on" I say. There are 2 separate rooms to change in. "Coming" he says, putting away his trunk with his robes. He jumps up and heads down the tiny, tiny hallway.

While we were heading back, James asked, "Hey, (y/n). I have a question for you" he asked, pulling me into an empty nearby compartment, putting a charm on the door so no one could hear us outside after he closed the door. "Sure, seeing as you pulled me into this compartment before I could answer" I answer sarcastically. He laughs a little. "So, I was wondering if you would be my girlfriend?" He said, seeming a little scared I'd say no. I didn't. I just kissed him, thinking it would be enough of an answer for him.

Once we pulled away, James said, "So, I take that as a yes?" he asked jokingly. I laugh a little. "What do you think?" I asked him. "I think so" he said as we exited the compartment we were in. We realized that it was time to leave. We hurried back to our compartment that we were in before we changed and found no one there, and our trunks where they were before we left. We grab them off of the shelves. "Allow me" James says as he grabs my trunk to drag it out since mine has wheels, but still as heavy. I allow him, knowing that there was no sense in fighting him, so, I grab my bag with my (f/p), (p/n), and head towards the carriage to head to the happiest building I could think of, Hogwarts. Ready to start a new year, with my new boyfriend.
