Qudditch World Cup Chaos (Seamus Finnigan) Part 1

Author's Note; you grew up with Seamus in Ireland and he helped you figure out that you were a magical person (witch or wizard).

"Hey, Seamus" I say, making turn around, as I was approaching from behind him. "(y/n)!" he shouts and pulls me into a tight hug. I arrived via portkey, but no one in my family came because they were either busy with work at the Ministry or they just didn't care about quidditch. "How are you?" he ask. "Really, not a word to me all summer so far, and that's the best you can do, Finnigan!" I say playfully and punch him in the arm playfully. "I would if I could, but the owl was hogged by me brother, talking with his sweetheart" he says, nodding to his brother, talking to a girl with a green and gray scarf. "You are forgiving!" I say. "Can I stay with your family, me mother and father didn't give a rat's arse about quidditch" I ask him. "I'll go ask me mother" he says, walking away.

He returned shortly after. "You can stay with us" he says excited. "Thanks" I answer, mimicking his excitment. "Oi, shut up" he says playfully punching me. We walking inside, I get set up and then we sit and wait for the game to start.

Time Skip to after the Quidditch World Cup game

"What the bloodly hell is all dat noise outside!" I shout. I exit the tent and see the racket. Tents ablaze. People stampeding in the opposite direction. In other words, udder chaos. "Seamus!" I yell. I need not yell too loud because he was already by my side. "Oh Merlin!" he says. "We help or what" I say. Thing about me, I'm a Gryffindor, meaning I am brave and stubborn. Some Gryffindors are worse than others. "Yeah" Seamus says pulling out his wand, and going with me against the crowd towards the attackers.

"Stupefy!" I yell, stunning an attacker. Fire was everywhere. They threw fireballs this way and that, me and Seamus made an attempt to stop them from hitting other tents. We got a couple, missed some though. An attacker sent a fireball in my direction, I squeal. "(y/n)!" Seamus yells before tackling me to the ground, making the fireball fly above me.

All of a sudden, the attackers disappear. Seamus was still on top of me, protecting me from the attackers. "(y/n), can I ask you something?" he ask me, still not getting off me. "I guess, seeing we are already talking" I say. We both chuckle. "I like you a lot" he says getting off of me, then proceeding to help me get up. "...and I would love, if you would be my girlfriend?" he ask. I secretly had a crush on him since we met, but didn't want to ruin the friendship. "Yes, Finnigan. I will be your girlfriend. I've actually liked you aince we met, but didn't want to ruin our friendship" I confess. Seamus chuckles, "Me too. Let's go try and find my family" he says, taking me hand in hand and heading back in the direction of the tent....
