Chapter 23
*Niall's POV*
-1 week later on Hannah's birthday-
I had been so excited for this day. Me and the boys had planned a suprise party for her inviting a few of her closest friends and family. We had just decorated the living room in the flat with balloons and banners. Harry and I had made some cupcakes and snacks whereas Louis and Zayn had helped decorate the room. Liam was in charge of making sure Hannah was away so we could plan the party.
"Niall what time is everybody arriving?" Louis asked me.
"Any minute now mate" I replied. Just at the right moment the door bell rang. Liam went and opened it. We all headed over to see the guests. I guessed the older couple was Hannah's mum and dad. She looked just like them. They had the same smile and eyes.
There was also a small group of younger girls. I recognised Ellie and pulled her into a warm hug. There was also a smaller girl with longish brown hair. We introduced each other her name was Freya. She was also rather shy like Hannah. I welcomed them all in and took their coats.
I really wanted to make a good impression on Hannah's mum and dad.
"Louis and Harry get over here right now!" I hissed at them. They came over to me hanging thier heads in shame. They had been play fighting on the floor nearly knocking over the snacks.
"Sorry Niall" they both said at the same time. Liam was on watch out at the window and shouted at us telling us that Hannah was walking down the drive.
*Hannah's POV*
I was rather upset. It was my birthday and not one of my friends or family members had text me. Neither had Niall or any of the other boys in fact. I pulled my key out of my bag to open the door. I stepped inside taking my vans off. It was pitch black. I switched the light on to find, Freya, Ellie, my mum and dad and the rest of the boys.
"OMG!" I screamed. I ran up to Freya and Ellie and pulled them into a warm hug. Next I ran over to my mum and gave her a huge hug. I had missed her so much. After my mum I hugged my dad. And last but not least I ran over to the boys for a big group hug. After we had all pulled over from our group hug I went up to Niall.
"Happy birthday Princess" He said. He pulled me in a hug and gently kissed me on the forehead. Ellie and Freya cooed at us. I stuck my tongue out at them.
"Thank you so much Nialler, you didn't have to do all of this" He smiled at me.
"But i wanted to"
My mum and dad had to leave to go and get their ride back home. I gave them a kiss on the cheek and waved them off from the window. I couldn't help but smile when I thought that the boys did all of this for me.
We all went over to the snack table and piled our plates high with food. Everyone was sat down on the floor together. All of my presents were in the middle of the room.
"i think that you should open your presents Hannah" Zayn said. Everyone nodded in agreement.
"Mine is going to be the best one" Louis said sassily.
"No, mine is" Harry argued back.
"Nope I don't think so, mine is" Zayn then added. Liam just sat there shaking his head. I grabbed a present wrapped in Pink and Purple paper. I read the tag on the top. It was from Freya. I tore off the paper to find a picture frame with a picture of me and freya from when we were 13 in it. There was also a cotton bracelet saying 'to infinity and beyond'.
"Thank you so much Freya" I squeezed her into a hug. A tear fell from my eye. For once I was crying tears of happiness. The rest of the present opening went on like that. Zayn got me a make up bag with a portable mirror inside. Liam got me a bullseye toy. What I love Toy Story! Louis got me a new pillow seen as I ruined mine in the pillow fight and Harry got me a mug saying be naked or go home. Ellie got me a floral t shirt saying 'live laugh and learn' on it.
Finally it was time to open Niall's present. First there was a little box so I decided to open that first. Inside was the most beautiful necklace. It was silver and had a love heart attached to the chain. I lifted me hair up, so he could put it on me. As he was leaning in to attach the chain he whispered in my ear
"I love you baby" Whenever he said those words my heart fluttered. My cheecks turned red and I tilted my head down so nobody could see how red I was. I opened his card. Inside it said Saturday night, me and you, date? I smiled at how cheesy it was yet when he did it, it was so cute.
"So what do you say?" Niall asked.
"Hum tough decision"
"Well Hannah you wouldn't want to miss out on this" He said tensing up his muscles and showing his abs. I smirked at him and chuckled.
"i suppose I could go on a date with you" I said. Niall jumped up in joy and started running around the room. This had been the best birthday ever hands down.
