Well I guess I am going to start a new story... hope you like it. Its a idea my friend gave me.... Enjoy!

The rain was pouring down as I walked home from school. Bruno Mars, Just The Way You Are was blaring threw my ear buds. I pulled my hood further around my head and crossed my arms. I was soaked but I wasn't complaining. I sighed. Anything to stay away from home. Walking was my alone time, my time to think.
As I grew closer to my drive way I got the strange sense that someone was following me. I glanced over my shoulder and of coarse there was no one to be seen. I shivered and starting to walk towards my house. Moms car wasn't in the garage so she wasn't home from work yet.
I slipped out of my shoes and jacket before I entered the house. Mom would kill me if I got mud all over the house. I locked the door behind me and headed into the kitchen to get a quick snack before going up to my room. I wanted to take a shower before mom got home but I still had to make dinner for Lissy when she got off the bus and I had a boat load of homework.
As I stepped out of the shower and turned off the water, I thought I heard movement down stairs. I wrapped my self in a towel and walked out into the hall. Maybe Lissy got home early.
"Lissy?" I called down the stairs. When there was no reply I just figured I had imagined it. I walked down the hall and into my room to get dressed. When I was done I grabbed my phone and school bag and headed down stairs to start dinner.
A hour later I had baked potatoes and steak with carrots cooking and half my math assignment done when Lissy got off the bus and burst in through the front door. She looked at me with wide eyes and a scared expression crossed her face.
"Lis? Whats wrong?" I asked her, standing up and crossing the room.
"Nothing! I um just didn't want to get wet." She said. I wasn't quite convinced but I didn't press her. She took off her shoes and walked past me into the kitchen. "Whats for dinner? It sure smells good." she said. She swept her long dark ringlets up into a messy bun on top of her head. For a twelve year old, my sister was beautiful. She had long, black ringlets that dropped down just past her hips and shockingly green, doe like eyes. Some people thought she was exotic looking, I just thought she was a pain.
"Steak and potatoes. Mom called earlier and said not to wait for her because she is going to be working late again." I sighed and took the potatoes out of the oven. Lissy got plates and silverware and we filled our plates. We ate mostly in silence, just commenting on the weather a few times.
After the dinner dishes were done, Lissy went up to her room and I went back to my homework. I finished my math and worked on my french homework for a while but I couldn't concentrate. I switched on the t.v hoping to catch the weather report. We were supposed to get some more rain but no bad storms. Lissy was terrified of storms. I loved them. "Hey Lis! Want to watch a movie?" I hollered and heard her walking down the hall.
"Sure." she said as she made her way down the stairs. We decided to watch 50 First Dates, my favorite movie. Lissy was in the kitchen getting popcorn while I put the DVD in. I sank down on the couch just as Lissy came bounding in with a big bowl of popcorn in her hands. We settled in to watch the movie just as a loud crash of thunder shook the house. Lissy whimpered and I grinned. To me there was nothing like a good thunder storm.
We were at the part when the girls dad and brother are repainting over her picture on the wall, when we heard someone knock on the door. It was almost seven o'clock so I wasn't sure who it was. I stood and walked to the door. Lissy pressed pause and followed me. I opened the door to reveal one of the most handsome men I had ever seen. He looked like a model for Calvin Klein or something. I'm pretty sure my mouth fell open for a second.
"Hi." I maneged to squeek out.
"Hello. Mind if I come in for a few moments to use your phone? I moved in down the road and seem to have locked myself out." He chuckled at his silly mistake and walked past me into the living room. I was freaking out. Lissy was just staring at him. He was so hot! And he had a British accent! I thought I would surely faint. He turned and looked at me. "phone?" he asked.
"In the kitchen. Come on." Lissy threw a glance at me before leading our handsome guest into the kitchen. I heard him talking on the phone to a friend. Probably his wife, I thought as I walked over to the couch. He looked to be in his late twenties possibly his early thirties. I sighed. There was no way I could get a guy like that. Unlike my little sisters beautiful exotic looks I was just slightly pretty. Average. I had the same black hair but I cut mine so it was short, going down just past my shoulders. It was not as curly as Lissy's, more like wavey. My eyes were a odd shade of bluish-green-grey. I was short to. Lissy was a few inches taller then me. She was tall for her age though. And I was skinny. Not like supermodel, see your bones skinny, but the kind of skinny that every girl wishes she was.
I sighed agian just as Lissy and the hot stranger were walking back into the room.
"Is something wrong?" the stranger asked. He cocked a eyebrow at me and smirked.
"Oh um no. I was just thinking." I said. My cheeks heated up as I mumbled out a reply.
"My name is Xavier by the way." He said, extending his hand to shake mine.
"Alexa." I mumbled. "Everyone just calls me Lex though." I mumbled shaking his hand. What was wrong with me? Why couldn't I think straight? I glanced up at Xavier as I dropped his hand. His eyes pierced into mine. they were dark, but glistened as he stared at me curiously. He ran a hand through his light sandy colored hair.
"Well thank you. I will probably see you again. Soon I hope. I should probably go.. Casey will probably be over to let me in my house soon. Thanks again." He said and walked to the door. "It was nice meeting you Lex." He said looking into my eyes again. I blushed and mumbled a half coherent response.
After he had left, Lissy turned to me. "I think he likes you." She stated simply before pressing play and flippng onto the couch.
