My cheeks flamed. I stood up shakily and walked to my desk. I sat on the edge and took a few deep breaths before I said anything. For some reason I felt like crying.
"Thanks." I mumbled, trying to clear my head. "so do you." I fumbled with some paper on the desk while I waited for him to say something.
He cleared his throat and I looked up. "Want to watch a movie or something?" he asked hesitently.
"Sure." I replied hopping off my desk and walking out into the hall.
I left Xzaviar to pick out a movie and I went in the kitchen to make popcorn. There was a note on the fridge saying that Lissy was spending the night with one of her friends so I was going to be home alone for most of the night. As I was standing at the counter, waiting on the popcorn, I felt a pair of arms encircle my waist. They lifted me up with ease and set me on the counter. I heard him chuckle as he watched my face.
"What the hell dude? First you practically almost kiss me now you are grabbing me and picking me up like a boyfriend would do! Your the one who pointed out the fact that you are TWICE MY AGE!" I couldnt help it. It just slipped out. I was really pissed though. He couldnt just DO that to me!
"Well Im sorry. I was under the impression you like it. I know I did. I like you Lex. Even though Im twice your age and I barly know you, I really like you." He said staring into my eyes. The next thing I knew he was right in front of my face. He crushed his lips to mine with enough force to push me backwards. He put one hand on the back of my neck, holding my head in place. Without thinking I tangled my fingers into his hair, crushing his head to mine. He bit my lower lip gently and I opened my mouth, deepining the kiss.
When we finally came up for air, gasping, our forheads touching, I sighed. "Wow." I whispered.
"Yeah wow." he whispered back. I gazed into his eyes.
Beep! Beep! I jumped when the microwave timer beeped, signalling that the popcorn was popped. We laughed and went into the living room to watch the movie. As we sat on the couch he held my hand and I rested my head on his shoulder. The rest of the night passed by without interuption.
