"Will you marry me?" Eren asked you anxiously. He had just proposed to you! You smiled at his face that was filled with longing and sorrow as you said teasingly, "Isn't it obvious?"

The look Eren gave you was priceless- confusion spread across his features. You smiled even wider as you exclaimed, "Of course I'll marry you!"

His expression softened at your response as he rose from his knee and kissed you passionately on the lips. You were overflowing with pure joy and adrenaline. All the both of you could do was hold each other- happy tears stained your faces.

Eren pulled back and carefully took up your left hand and slid the simple silver band around your ring finger. It was beautiful- not too fancy and not too bland...in fact, you thought it was absolutely perfect.

A plop of water landed on your hand- you and Eren both looked up, just in time to see the downpour of rain drench both of you. The both of you gasp in pleasant surprise at this sudden change in weather. Eren gave you a grin as he picked you up bridal style and brought you over to where Blackberry is standing.

"I think it's time we get back to HQ," he said cheerfully.

You laughed at his obvious comment and climbed up onto Blackberry, Eren shortly following. He took the reins and raced your horse back up to the base. You wrapped your arms around Eren's waist for support and to keep your hands from shaking- pure happiness still filled you and you wouldn't have any other way.

Eren placed a cup of coffee in front of you at the table and sat down next to you, with his own cup. The two of you were still sopping wet from the rain but thankfully there was already a fire going. Armin also sat at the table. He came in shortly after you and Eren returned and was delighted to see the both of you. He gave you a giant hug and said how happy he was that you were okay- he also gave his condolences but you didn't flinch at his words.

"So where are the others?" Eren asked eagerly.

"Oh," Armin half whispered, "They're in Levi's office..."

You looked at Eren, who gave you a confused expression, "Do you know why?" You directed your question at Armin.

Armin simply shrugged, "I'm not really supposed to tell. Mikasa, Jean, Sasha and Hanje were asked to stay for a little longer- when I found you two, I had just come down from the Captain's office."

"I see..." Eren sighed, "I'm going to assume that Mikasa isn't taking kindly to the Captain's decision?"

Armin paled, "Actually...There's something you might want to know about Mikasa- Mikasa and Jean that is-"

"(F/NNNN!!!!-)"

Your eyes widened at this- you heard her before you saw her...or rather you felt her practically strangle you.

"Hange!" You said exasperatedly, "I can't breathe-"

"But you're okay!!" She half-screamed in your ear, "I'm so happy!!!" She tightened her grip- you felt your face drain of colour.

"Zoe!" You heard a voice cutting through the air, "What were we JUST talking about a second ago?"

Hange loosened her grip but then proceeded to spin you around to face her- and gave you a proper hug...a real hug.

You returned the pleasant embrace and looked over Hanje's shoulder to find everyone else who was mentioned in Levi's office standing around the door including Levi, who was standing in the doorway...they were all somewhat smiling- except for Levi of course.
