Today was a Saturday. Morgan asked for class to be continued for three hours today. Classes on Saturday? I know right. What the heck. She also asked the newbies AKA me to come to class early.
"Ally, come here," Morgan called me over.
"Yes?"
"This is something important you may want to consider. There is a council called the Fairy Tale Council. This is a girl group in our school for your age. This council consists of 20 girls. On the other side there is the Sword Tail Council. This is the boy group for your age. They also consist of 20 boys. Well, right now, I have elected 8 girls from last year, and by the way I choose the people so... Here is the list," Morgan handed me the list.
FAIRY TALE COUNCIL: Katie, Kathleen, Andrea, Elly, Ida, Carmen, Genevieve, Selena
"There are two open spots this year since two people left last year that were on the team."
I nodded. "Am I allowed to join?"
"What do you think, girl? Why would I be asking you about this then?"
"Yes, and is my friend, Juliette, invited?" I asked as I pointed to her near her lockers.
"No way, there's two spots, and who's the two besties? Alright, I'm guessing both of you guys will join so meeting tonight at 9 PM. Be there or drop." With that she turned her back against me and continued to check her social media on her phone.
I chuckled and screamed at Juliette to come over. I told her about this and she was giddying up with joy. We finally had a place in this school.
