The beating seemed to continue for hours until the messenger shouted, "Stop!"
Archer leered at him, dropping Indrasena's battered body onto the ground.
"What did you say, you little dirty Onerali?" Archer spat.
"I said stop, you Galalissian scum!"
The messenger thrashed, but his bindings were too tight. At this, Archer kicked Indrasena, sending her rolling.
"Hmm, it seems that Onerali nobility are weaklings. She didn't even put up a fight," he remarked.
Archer started pacing slowly back and forth in front of the messenger.
"Fortunately for you, we need her alive for a while. Onerali messengers are sworn to deliver any messages meant for the palace, aren't they? Here's a message for you. Tell your king to surrender himself to us or this child of Onerali nobility will be killed!"
The messenger glowered at him and Archer pressed his foot onto Indrasena's wrist. He kept steadily pressing harder until Indrasena whimpered.
"Do you have anything to say?" he asked the messenger, who continued to glare at him.
"No!" the messenger spat out.
"Are you sure? No complaints?" Archer asked, pushing his foot down even harder.
Indrasena screamed, her voice hoarse, as the pressure intensified. He was going to break her wrist!
"Stop!" shouted the messenger again.
Archer looked up.
"I have no complaints! I will deliver the message! Just let her go," the messenger pleaded.
This was the last thing she heard before Archer put all of his weight on her foot, making her world go black.
