Outsiders Imagines: Darry

You and Darry had been getting into a lot of fights lately and it killed you to see him angry.

"Look i'm sorry, but there is no way in hell i'm about to let you walk alone." Darry yelled

"I'm a grown woman! I can do whatever the hell I want! I don't need you!" you screamed as you ran out the door. Darry was making you feel like a 3 year old kid that always needed supervision. It made you mad just thinking about it, you hated being younger than a lot of people you hang out with, even Darry was older than you, not by much though.

You walked quickly through the dark, regretting what you said to Darry. He loves you, and you love him. You walk to the lot to calm down, you see Johnny there and start talking to him.

"He don't mean nothin, he just worries about you. I wouldn't let you walk in the dark either, it would be too easy for you to get jumped." Johnny said

"Yeah, I guess... Wanna walk me home Johnnycake? Darry will flip if he knows I walked here and back alone."

"Yeah, sure."

You both walk to the Curtis house after about 20 minutes of talking in the lot. Halfway there you see Darry running down the street trying to find you.

"(Y/N)? I'm sorry I yelled at you, I just don't want anything to happen to you."

"I know Darry, I'm sorry, I just hate feeling like I'm 3 years old."

"I'm sorry, come on home, I have a surprise for you."

"O.k Darry"

Johnny went back to the lot, as you two walked home Darry put his arm over your shoulder and held you close to him. When you got home you saw the lights were off. You walk in and see candles and dinner. You look at Darry surprised.

"I love you (Y/N), and I could never let anything happen to you. I felt horrible after I yelled at you, and when you left I thought something happened to you. So.... I guess what I'm trying to say is if anything ever happened to you I would never forgive myself and I want to spend the rest of my life with you," he kneeled down and pulled out a small box out of his pocket, "(Y/N), will you marry me?" He said opening the box showing you a beautiful ring.

"Of course Darry! Of course I will marry you!" You say as you kneel down with him and give him a kiss.

The rest of the gang walk in and smile. You're getting married to Darrel Curtis.
