Fili joined his uncle Thorin whereas Pundin and I wandered in the vast halls of Erebor. It was magnificent. The pillars were so tall that they disappeared into the shadows. There were many glittering lamps and roaring fires lighting the entire kingdom. There were so many people, elves, dwarves and men. Gandalf was also there. It was quite a merry gathering. And there in one corner Pundin and I found Thranduil, king of the woodland realm with his son Legolas. They were regal and Thranduil had an opulent crown upon his head. His eyes were warm and friendly. The animosity between the woodland elves and the dwarves of Erebor was lost in the mists of time.

But above all, the visitor who surprised me the most was Bilbo Baggins! I could not believe myself,we had a quick chat and left. Thorin was majestic and regal. He had a long, coal black coat with a silver, fur tassel and his sword Orcrist by his side. Kili and Fili were beside him talking to Dain from the Iron Hills, Thorin's cousin.

The Coronation was the day after tomorrow and we were all excited. Fili offered to give us a tour through Erebor some time soon.

I was introduced to Thorin by Fili.Thorin gave a warm smile and turned to Pundin.Thorin seemed to know Pundin,he hugged him and said something in dwarvish which had a sorrowful tone. Unmindful of that I started looking around. Kili then took me to the inner chambers and showed many ancient scrolls about dwarf runes. They were all interesting. There were many mysterious scrolls that were in a restricted section. Fili and Pundin later joined us. Time flew away very quickly and soon it was time for dinner.

I was invited to the royal dinner where only important members were permitted. I was on cloud nine, I happily went to the dinner. I saw Bilbo,Gandalf and many other important people. Dis sat beside Thorin, she had a beautiful smile and her hair was braided meticulously and looked pretty. She had raven-black hair just like Thorin.

We had a wonderful time talking about our ventures and listening to other people's journeys. That night we were given different rooms in Erebor. They were immense and astounding. My room had a huge statue of a dwarf crouching in a defnse posture and on the other end there was a warm hearth. On the wall there was a tiny vent through which the silver moonlight streamed in. Pundin's room was beside mine and Fili's was the next.

All this excitement and joy made me drowsy and I fell asleep before I even knew...
