The Robinsons were taken from their house just minutes after the tragedy. Poor Thomas didn't know what was going on. "Where's Mummy, Daddy?" All his father could say was "In a happier place, son". You could see the pain in his heart through his expressive tears in his eyes. The police also were sad, but they would never let anyone see any tears. Mr Robinson and Thomas were placed in a police car and they were moved into a new home.
"We must make sure you are safe." Said the officer. Thomas began to realise what his fathers words meant. He glared at his father trying not to break down "Mummy's dead Daddy, isn't she?" Mr Robinsons reply, "Yes son, I am sorry." They arrived at their new house and Thomas became very angry. He threw his toys everywhere and even smashed the television. Thomas swore on his own life that he would avenge his mothers death. The aggression inside of him grew and grew. He even hit one of the guards who were there to protect them both. "Sorry, sorry, sorry." He said extremely apologetically. He broke down and burst into tears. The house was soon a swimming pool. The tears didn't stop coming until one hour later. Thomas and his father wept together for a while, grieving and crying but trying to stay strong as both of them knew that Mrs Robinson wouldn't have wanted them to cry. The police came to the house in the evening to check everything was alright. They ensured that they had plenty of food to eat and many things to satisfy their needs. They were very welcoming.
