Bear grabbed my hands as the double doors creaked closed, signaling that the king had left. He then proceeded to led me to a wall with a tapestry hung on it.
"Um... Not to be rude but isn't the door the other way?" I asked as I pointed to where the doors were behind us.
"Yes, yes it is," He said with a smirk. Bear was standing just right that the light reflected off of his face. His blue eyes shone in the candlelight and shamelessly displayed the same smirk as his mouth. His black hair was very much like his father's but with out the white streaks. It was a disheveled mess as if he had run hus hand through it repeatedly, yet it came out quite out attractive... Oh what was I saying?! This man was a complete stranger! How could I be thinking such things about him?
"Natasha? Hello?" the prince asked calling out to me. I looked away from him as a blush crept over my cheeks, turning my face a deep shade of red. I had openly been ogling the prince of my land and had been caught! How embarrassing.
"Uh, yeah?" I asked still not looking at him. I could sense his eyes on me. They felt like they were boring holes right through the side of my head. If my brain feel out because I did get holes bored into my head it would be his fault.
"Look at me," he demanded.
"Why?" I was being stubborn now and refused to look at him.
"Because I am your prince and I demand you do so." I still didn't obey.
I could tell he was moving towards me but before I could react he closed the space between us, cupping my face and lifting it up to look at his face. Dang! I hadn't realized how tall he was until now. I had to look up as if I were going to stare at the clouds to see his face.
Okay, maybe that was a little bit of an exaggeration but it's what it felt like. He smiled down at me and I flushed again as the intimacy of our position sunk in. My inner wolf didn't mind though for she was purring from the inner most recess of my mind. She had never really showed much interest towards a human so I was shocked. A gasped escaped my lips before I could stop it, causing the prince to show a confused expression on his face.
"I... I..." I stuttered for something to say but couldn't find any words. Curse this man. He made me feel weak.
"It's nothing," Bear said as he pushed himself away from me, dropping his hand away from my face. A pang of hurt coursed through me and I'm sure he could see it clearly on my face. I turned away from him and began to stride across the hall to the double doors. My wolf was whimpering in the back of my mind and tears were threatening to blur my vision.
I was halfway across the hall when a warm arm wrapped around me. I yelped in surprise. My yelp turned into a snarl as I turned around in the warm embrace to face HIM.
"Natasha please..." His voice trailed off as I began to growl.
"Do not 'Natasha please' me," I spat at him. He just made feel so... Ugh! His arm began to lose its hold on me and I made a mad dash for the doors.

A/N: I must really love you guys if I've updated this to days in a row :p FYI: If it says on hold for any of my books they aren't. My kindle is just being dumb. And when a word is in capitals it is meant to be italicized, but I'm using the app... So yah. :/
Anyway, hope you enjoy this. I apologize for any errors.
Hugs and enjoy your summer :),
