°Natasha's POV°

When Fera came out with the dress and held it out for me to see I was shocked. It was a midnight blue color with gold lace around the bottom of the skirt, the edge of the sleeves, and the top of the dress. The sleeves looked like they would only go halfway down my arm, but not quite reaching my elbows. The skirt had a sheer layer on top but that didn't stop Fera from making the under layer extremely short.

"Try it on dear. I'm dying to see how you look in it." How could Fera, of all people, expect me to wear something like this? It would cause a social uproar and I could permanently be branded by society as unacceptable and a disaster.

"Do you really expect me to wear this? What would others think if I wore something like this?" Fera's green eyes hardened as they seemed to grow a tad bit more silver.

"Do not fret about what others will think. This is not for their best interests but yours and yours alone." Her voice was filled with steely determination.

There was no backing out for me now... Fera grabbed onto my arm and then proceeded to drag me into the back room where she had created the dress. I was told to slip off my dress before the new one could be slid on. I did just that when she began to slide the new one up and over my head. I was lead up onto the stool in the middle of the room and positioned on it so that I faced a mirror.

I had to admit that the dress looked better on than I had thought. The sleeves did reach only the middle of my upper arm, like I had suspected. They connected onto a short section on the shoulder which, in turn, plummeted into a revealing neck line that barely covered my cleavage. From the neck line it flowed down to a skin tight mid-section when went straight down to a tight skirt that came to the middle of my thighs. It revealed everything and I was thankful for the little coverage that the over skirt gave. It was sheer, but it didn't reveal nearly as much as the dress would have without it.

"Do you like the color, dear?" Fera blurted, bringing me out of the trance I was in.

"Yes. I just love the colors. What made you choose them?"

"I'm glad you like them," she said with a smile. "The gold matches your gorgeous eyes, dear, and the blue helps make your tan skin stand out." Now that Fera had said that I could see the reason in her answer. The gold was the same hue as my eyes.

'Do you really anticipate on wearing that?' Naomi's voice cut through my thoughts. I could feel her pacing and whining about what could happen if I wore this.

'What do you have against whether or not I wear it? It is my body after all and I can do with it as I please.' Of all times she could choose she had to pick now to start giving me her opinion on the matters at hand.

'The dress is a disgrace to you, women in general, and all she-wolves. If you think that by wearing this dress, which is just a lack of fabric, that you will get the prince you are greatly mistaken. The only thing that it will give you is a bad reputation as the town harlot and the disgrace of your name. You may not want to listen to me now but it will be wise to very soon.'

'It is just a dress. And since when did you become the mother of me? Lighten up a bit and let me have some fun for once. I have finally found the one I am meant to be with and it is up to me to decide how I am to go about this matter.' My retort back did seem a bit haughty, but who was I to just beat around the bush? If my soul mate didn't want to be with me I was going to make him realize this grave mistake and in the process see to it that no other woman could become his.

'I am not your mother, but I am certainly a part of you and any action you perform, negative or positive, reflects back on me. I am a guardian and a conscience to you, heed my warning now or forever bear the consequences of your actions.' Naomi's voice trailed off as her warning echoed in my head. She knew that no matter how drastic her warnings seemed, none could truly stop me from doing anything I wanted.
