Never Be Over You (Dean Winchester love story)

Chapter 20

Me and Dean leave the motel to go to the address that Castiel told us. It doesn't take that long to get there. When we do get there we can see through the window, Sam using his mind powers to exorcise a demon. Sam starts helping the guy that was possessed get up and walk to the door but before they get there me and Dean walk in. I notice that there's a woman with them too.

"So, anything you wanna tell us Sam?" Dean says. Sam is like a brother to me so I care just as much as Dean about this.

"Dean, hold on, just let me explain."

"Let me explain? You can explain this? How about this, how about you start with who she is. And what the hell is she doing here?"

"Good to see you again Dean, and Ashlee." The woman says.

"Ruby?" I ask. The way I see it, she should've died. In my eyes she helped Lilith send Dean to hell.

"Is that Ruby?" Dean asks Sam. No answer. I push Ruby against one the cages behind her and pull out the demon knife to kill her, but then Sam, unfortunately, steps in and takes the knife from me, with difficulty, and now Ruby has me pinned against the cages.

"Ruby, stop it." Sam says. Oh! Now he says something helpful! Thanks a lot! She has a gold on my neck and when she finally starts to pull away I push her off me.

"Well aren't you an obedient little bitch." I say. Where was Dean in all this? He was trying to get The knife back from Sam.

"Ruby. Ruby, she's hurt. Go." Sam says. She walks over to the guy and helps him stand up.

"Where the hell do you think you're going?" Dean asks

"The ER, unless Ashlee wants to go another round first." Nobody says anything and she just leaves with the guy. We both just look at Sam and then leave.

"Ashlee. Dean." He says, we just keep walking. He said he stopped and he didn't. We walk back out to the car and eventually Sam follows. Dean throws me his keys indicating that he wants me to drive. I get to drive, Dean gets shotgun and Sam is stuck in the back seat. We get back to the motel and pretty much crash right away. The next morning Dean gets me to go for a drive with him, so that he can cool down. He tells me what he wants to do and I follow along with his plan. We get back to the motel and immediately start packing our bags.

"Guys, what are you doing? Are you leaving?" Sam asks.

"You don't need us. You and Ruby go fight demons." Dean says. I finish packing a few seconds before and start walking to the door.

"Dean, c'mon, hold on man." Sam says and then he gets punched..right in the jaw. Nice one Dean!

"You satisfied?" Sam asks then gets another punch to the face. Sam turns back to us and wipes his mouth seeing as he's bleeding a little bit.

"Guess not."

"Do you even know how far off the reservation you've gone? How far from normal? How far from human?"

"I'm just exorcising Dean."

"With your mind!" Dean yells.

"What else can you do?" I ask.

"I can send them back to hell. It only works with demons and that's it."

"What else can you do?" Dean asks grabbing Sam's collar, pushing him back then letting go.

"I told you."

"And we have every reason in the world to believe that."

"Look, I should've said something. I'm sorry, I am, but try to see the other side here."
