epilogue.
"That was a great story, mama." Maxi smiled, snuggling under his blanket and his bright eyes closed slowly.
His younger sister nodded in agreement with him. She too was on the brink of falling asleep. "Thank you for telling us your fairy tale, mama." To a little three year old, who had much to learn about life, her parents' story sounded like a fairy tale. It involved the two main protagonists; the prince and the princess who wanted to be together and loved each other, while it also had the villain who would stop at nothing to separate them.
Erik chuckled at his daughters way of wording it. "I really hope both of you grow up to be as loving, and loyal as your mother. Even through all my mistakes, she forgave me and allowed me back into her life. I don't deserve her love."
"Liebling," She cupped his face in her hands and kissed him on the lips sweetly. "Trust me when I tell you that you do deserve me and our children. You have been a wonderful husband, and a great father to Max and Liese. They adore you, and I adore you. You can't dwell on one mistake forever." A smile tugged at the corners of her mouth, as she tried to reassure him that it was time to leave the past in the past.
Though Arabella had forgiven him, Erik found it difficult in his heart to forgive himself. She had been incapable of hurting him, but he had been the opposite.
But now he was going to spend an eternity making it up to her if it were necessary.
She was Bella, his bella, and he loved her with all his heart.
Erik pushed himself off Anneliese's small bed and scooped his beautiful wife up in his arms. She giggled in surprise to his action. The kids were already sound asleep in their beds.
"What are you doing?" She asked him, her blue eyes looking into his.
"Let me treat you like the queen that you are to me, for the rest of our lives." He told her with a smile playing on his lips. Her arms went to wrap around his neck as he made his way out of the children's bedroom and went in the direction of their room.
To say he wanted to spend an eternity together was everything short of how Erik felt.

short epilogue for ya.
but i wanted to have it up now because i said it would be up yesterday. oops. and since you all know me so well, you probably know (or can imagine) that another fanfic will occupy the slot of this one in my writing time.
it will probably be 'wendolyne' a julio furch story. if you like german footballers, you'll like him. well...you might like half of him. he is a german-argentine footballer who currently plays for tiburones rojos de veracruz in the ligamx. and he is blonde, blue eyed, and handsome, and really tall. its the first book in the letters series and its a tragic story, written through love letters, which i already finished writing. its just sitting in my drafts waiting to be uploaded.
so i hope you like it.
thank you so much for reading and supporting. it means a lot.
blessings, clary xx
