Captain's Daughter Book 2: Visions of Loki

Chapter 3: Asgard

When we enter the palace, everyone basically attacks Thor and Leah.

"We need to see Oden." Thor yells over the crowd of voices. A maid leads us down a hallway to a golden doorway. Thor knocks.

"Enter." An old, raspy voice says.

Thor slowly pushes the door open. "Thor. Leah." He says nodding to each of them in turn. "Who are these people?"

" This is Max, Alex, Henry, Lexi and Marie and Cassie." Thor glances behind his shoulder. To look at us all. "They were all present at the war that Loki has brought upon their world."

"Very good. What is it you need?" He asks turning to Thor.

"Has Loki arrived in Asgard lately, preferably yesterday?"

"As far as I am aware, he has not returned. We will keep guards at the ready." Oden says.

"Thank you, father." Thor says walking out the big solid door. We all follow.

"Should we check in the frost giant realm?" Leah asks. "Yes, I must return to earth and help search." Thor explains.

"That is fine, father." Leah says.

"Ahhhg!" Henry screams,crouching down and holding his head. "Arrg!" Henry screams again.

"HENRY!!" I yell getting down next to him, hugging him tightly. "Is it Loki?! What's wrong?!" I ask, panicking.

"Loki...killing..." He trails off.

"HENRY! Please talk to me!" I yell. He slowly opens his eyes. He looks dazed. "Henry, what did you see?!" I ask a bit calmer but, still hanging on to him.

"It was dark. I heard a girl scream and yell. The light came on and she was against the wall on the floor. There was a flash of light. He killed her!!" He had tears in his eyes. "HE KILLED YOU!" he screamed. "I'm okay, Hnery. I will be okay.. Calm down.." I hold his head and make him look at me.

"Loki wants to kill you!" He screamed, pulling away. Everyone else was silent, watching the situation.

"We have to find Loki!" I say, not leaving Henrys side.

"But, Henry said he was going to kill you. We can't just walk up to him and say he's arrested!" Lexi says, sarcastically.

"He can't kill me off that easily!" I say.

"He's smarter than that." Henry says standing up once he was relaxed. "He is going to use one of us as bait. That way you'll have a reason to give yourself up!" Henry explains.

"We need to stay hidden then." Max says.

"Yeah, so it's easier to avoid him." Lexi agrees.

"We still need to go see the frost giants. Maybe they can help us." Henry says. I was surprised he was being so strong. He had just had a horrible day dream and he still wanted us to go to Loki's original family.

"We should see if they have any information we can use." Marie says.

"If they dont try to kill us and cooperate." Leah say. "They aren't very understanding."

Max speaks up. "Then, we'll make them understand."
