(Alex's POV)

Its been two hours since we got back from the facility and we still haven't heard any thing from Thomas.

I let Jeff use the shower in my house while I made something for us to eat.
I made us sandwiches and ate mine while I heard him turn off the shower.

"We need to find Thomas" I said once Jeff stepped into the kitchen.
"I'm sure he's fine. He opened the portal, he sent us back here. He has it under control." Jeff said sitting across from me eating his sandwich.

"I hope" I said, my voice filled with doubt. Its just that thing that attached itself to him was so...it felt evil. More than evil...I don't know. My thoughts were interrupted by a static like sound filling the air.

"What's that?" I asked Jeff. He didn't say any thing as a bright light flashed and we were in front of the mansion.

"Where is Thomas?" Slenderman asked walking out of the forest.

"Slendy! Your gonna love this. Our friend Thomas is with our not so good friend Zalgo!" Jeff said nonchalantly.
Slender whipped a tentacle at Jeff, pinning him against the ground.
He leaned in close to Jeff's face "This is not, a time for jokes Jeffrey." He said and from the sound of it he was pissed!

"Chill slender. Why so serious?" Jeff said through stiff words.
Slender let go of Jeff and stepped back.

"I fear the worst has happened. I felt an extreme amount of pain coming from him and now its gone. I can't even connect to him." He said now looking directly at me.

"W-what are you saying" I said hesitantly.

Slender sighed, "I believe Thomas is dead"

Right when he said that I felt my heart break. My tears began to fall uncontrollably as I fell to my knees.
"No! It can't be! He was alive, I saw him!" I yelled. Jeff came over and comforted me.
"Are you sure?"Jeff asked Slender, picking me up from off the ground.

"I'm afraid so" Slender said, his head hung low.
"Would you like me to take you home Alex?" He said looking down at me.
I nodded as I continued to sniffle.
Light flashed over and Me and Jeff were in my house. Instantly I ran to go upstairs.

(Jeff's POV)

"Alex wait!" I said as she ran up the stairs. I ran after her and when I came to the closed door I could hear her crying more. I knocked causing the door to creak open. I saw her sitting on the edge of her bed holding something.
"Hey, you...I'll just be heading back now." I said turning to leave.

"Wait!" I heard her say. I turned and saw her holding out a knife.
"This was his, I found it and I was gonna give it to him on his birthday next week." She paused and I could tell she was fighting to hold back more tears.
"I think he would want you to have it" she handed me the knife. It was a nice knife with a engraving on the side.

"Lost But Not Forgotten"

"Thanks" I said, running my finger across the blade.
I turned to leave but I felt her grab my arm.
