Chapter 31

Aye! What's up peoples? I hope your having a good day because I am! Kinda...not really but that's why I'm here ! I feel like this chapter is a big turning point in the story so tell me what you think about that. I've also decided that this story will be about 60 chapters but there will definitely be a sequel so make sure you look for that after this story is over.

(Alex's POV)

The air in the room was thick with tension. I was nervous, why did Slender drag me here? Why am I important?
Thomas stood in silence along side the girl. Her hair no longer red like the last time I saw her.

The deep pits where the eyes would be on their masks felt empty and unnatural.

Zalgo suddenly nodded towards the two and they removed their masks.

I didn't even notice that Thomas's hair was completely gone. He looked like he did when I first met him....except now his demeanor was so dark and distant.

I looked at the girl and almost jumped when I saw that she was staring at me. Like Thomas she seemed off. Her deep crimson eyes were enough to make me stop looking at her.

"Thomas, are you okay?" Slender asked.

Thomas didn't say anything as he stared and the man with the blank face.

"I'm perfect" He said with a grin that made the hairs on my neck stand up.

"Child why didn't you just come to me for help? I told you he can not be trusted." Slender said gesturing to Zalgo.

"And you can? I'm not to sure about that because I sure as hell can't trust them." Thomas pointed at me and Jeff.
" you can't help me Slender none of you can. I'm where I need to be. I'm with people I can trust. I have someone who can actually watch my back" he said looking at me and I knew he was talking about the girl.

Jeff scoffed, "we had your back until you up and disappeared. We didn't know where you were."

"You didn't look for me either so you obviously didn't care." Thomas replied.

"Dude dont you get that Zalgo is evil?" Jeff yelled. I could see the anger in his eyes. He wanted his friend back, more than I knew.

Thomas didn't speak for a moment. He opened his mouth to speak but Zalgo's voice sounded instead.

"Thomas, calm yourself. I believe you have a choice to make. You can either go back to your old life with them....or you can continue towards your new life with us" he said as the girl moved over to him.
"Trust that I will be fine with whatever choice you make."
