Chapter 5

BRIANNAS POV

I got home, and did what i felt like doing, i ran upstairs, closed my door and cried. The thing is, i don't know why i was crying. I just laid there and let the tears flow down my face.

After i had stopped crying, i wiped all the smeared make-up from my face. It was like 9 something now, and i didn't wanna go to sleep, so i went downstairs to get a little snack. "Hey honey, how was the date with Vinny?" My mom asks. "It wasn't a date mom.. We were just catching up. " i simply said. She looked at me and gave me the 'yeah right' face. My phone buzzed next to me, so i looked at it, and Meghan was calling me. I picked up the phone

Me: Hello?

Her: hey! Wanna hang out tonight?

Me: i'll have to ask. Hold on.

I put the phone to my chest so meghan couldn't hear me, and i called out to my mom. " hey mom! Can me and Meghan hang out tonight?" "It's kinda late, dont ya think?" "No.." "Its fine.. I dont care." She called back. Yes...i went back to my phone conversation.

Me: she said it was fine.

Her: yay! I'll be right over..

Me: okie! Byyeee.

Her: bye!

I hung up and continued on eating my ice cream. Once i finished, i out the bowl in the sink and the doorbell rang. Uhh.. Meghan never rings the doorbell, she usually comes right in.. I go to the door, i open it, and it'a not Meghan, its Vinny..

"Vinny? What are you doing here?" I ask confused. "Well, you seemed kind of stressed and nervous when Mikey asked us to go to the movies and i wanted to know whats up.." He answered. "Honestly, i don't even know. I just felt like crying right then and there, but really, im fine.. But thanks for coming over. It means a lot. " "no problem, i just wanted to see if you were okay.." After that, i didn't say anything. I just hugged him. He seemed shocked , but in a couple seconds, he hugged back.

Just then Meghan barged in. "Guys. I've been standing here for 5 minutes. Can we get a move on." Really Meghan, really? We pull apart, and Vinny awkwardly says "hi meghan..." "Hi vinny!" She says being her energetic self. "Well, i'm gonna go.." Vinny says. "Bye vin.."

He left and me and Meghan went up into my room. She kept on looking at me weird. "What?" I ask. "So... You and Vinny?!?!" She says. "No! We're just friends, and i plan on keeping it that way. So stop." "Ugh. Fine."

"I'll be right back, i'm gonna go get pjs on." I say as i walk into my closet. I grab something more comfortable. My blue and white Aztec print one piece. Just as i was about to get out of my clothes, i hear my phone buzz. I run out of my closet, to get my phone before Meghan does. I grab it and run back into the closet. Its a text from an unknown number, i open it and it reads

' Hey Bri, it's Madison... I know i've acted.. Uh.. Weird around you, and i wanted to apologize for the way i've been acting, its just i just broke up with my girlfriend Victoria and I've just been taking it real hard, but im better now, and i wanted to know if you wanted to start over? Would you maybe wanna go out Saturday and get to know each other more?'

I really didn't know what to say. I mean i didn't just wanna say no. I quickly texted back.

Sent: i really appreciate that. And sure, i'll go out with you Saturday.

I got undressed and put my one piece on. When i walked out of my closet, sat on my bed, and pulled out my laptop. I logged onto twitter. I looked at my interactions and saw that Vinny had tooken a picture and tagged me in it. It was a picture of me doing something on my phone. I replied to it.

'@_BriannaLaude: @VinCastronovo ohmygod i hate you! :p'

Then i saw all my new followers. 300+. Woah. "Hey what ya looking at?" Meghan says moving closer to me. "My twitter. Its ridiculous." "Why?" "Because , all my mentions and followers." "Why is that ridiculous?" "Because, i didn't know Vinny had so much power on twitter."

After about 10 minutes, we went to sleep.

In the morning, i looked over and checked the clock on my phone. It was noon. I noticed i had a text from my dad. Me and him still keep in contact. Even though my mom doesnt want us too. He asked me what state we were in. He has always been trying to figure that out. I told him that i can't tell him. But he still keeps on asking.

After that, i check my other messages and i had 2 more. I had one from Meghan and one from Vinny. Meghans read:

Hey, i had to go home because my mom needed help with something, sorry..

Vinnys read:

Hey, going to the beach with some of the boys, you wanna come?

I quickly texted both of them back.

To Meghan: Its fine babe. (:

To Vinny: Sure! I'll be glad to get out of here anyways.

I got up and hopped in the shower. I did everything, and definatly shaved. I got out and blow dried my hair. I applied a very small amount of make-up. I then went and put on my bathing suit. I out on shorts, and a flowy crop top over my bathing suit. I out on bracelets, to cover my cuts. I checked my phone again, and Vinny had texted me.

Vinny: Why? Whats wrong with your house?

Me: I cant deal with my mom. Shes really annoying. But when you gonna be here? Im ready.

Vinny: i actually just got to your house, come outside!

I grabbed my beach bag, and my phone and walked downstairs. I put on my shoes and told my mom i was leaving.

"Hey vin, i don't think i was properly introduced to all your friends." I say. "Your right, i havent. This is Nick, Jason, Mikey, Shannon, Louis, Madison, and Thomas." Vinny said going down the line of people. I greeted everyone of them with a handshake. I know its kinda weird. "To the beach!" Madison screamed. We all started running towards the beach.

When we got there, i laid my towel down, and Shannon came right next to me. "Hey, i know we haven't really talked, but you seem cool, so i think we should be friends, whattya say?" Well shes a little straight forward, dont ya think? But i need other friends other than just Meghan. "Sure, i'd like that." I say smiling.

We were still at the beach, and me and Shannon kept on talking. I actually think we could become good friends. "Ooh. And a little secret about Mikey. He still sleeps with a night light." We both start laughing our asses off. Mikey looks at us weird. Then his reaction changes to shocked. Then he screams "YOU DIDN'T TELL HER ABOUT-" "OH YES I DID." Shannon yells back. "Okay that's it." He says then comes and runs towards Shannon, and flings her over his shoulder like a feather, carries her over to the water and throws her into the water. She screamed as her body hitting the water cut her off.

I really wish i had a relationship like that. They were so cute. But i can't have a relationship because in reality im fat, im ugly, and i dont have that 'perfect body'. Ugh...
