People kept staring as if I was crazy or something.

I shot cold, death glares to the people around me hoping that it will drive them away, and it did; They looked away, frightened of what I could do to them, or what they think I could do to them.

I turned to the guy beside me.

I glared at him then sighed, frustrated. For three years, I have kept my cold image to make my life objective to other people and to myself.

But this guy, this puppy, ruined it all.

Now people think that I'm not cold and maybe they'll start to bother me as well.

Ughhh. Why did I even agree to this deal?

But if I don't, he'll be the one to bother me for a whole year! Or maybe even follow me up to college.

So this is a good idea right?

Right?

Ugh.

"Am I too handsome for you to stare at?" He asked me, a smirk forming in his lips even though he was still facing front.

I huffed and raised an eye brow, then smirked.

"Yes, in fact, you are." I answered, still smirking.

He didn't expect my answer and so, his eyes went wide as his smirk fades, and faced me, surprised, as a grin formed in his lips.

"Really?" He asked excitedly.

My smirk grew bigger.

"No." Then I faced front, with a satisfied grin across face.

In my peripheral view, I saw his smile fall dramatically as it turns into a pout.

My grin grew wider.

Maybe he's not so bad after all...
Maybeee.

Hours passed and I have to admit that it was fun, with him annoying me and all; making jokes that are all so... lame.

It was the last subject of the day, which was Foreign language.

We were all set, waiting for the teacher to come. Students, being noisy as they can ever be.

Some girls are being flirts, while the boys, well, they just don't care. Nerds, trying to study harder for them to beat me. But, they can't so boo-hoo. Jocks, being bullies and I almost forgot...

The puppy who's trying to annoy me.... again.

"Hey, what do you call--" he was just about to make another super lame joke when the teacher came in, hushing everyone, with a student that came with her.

As the teacher was speaking, I couldn't help but to look at the student he brought in.

She was just a simple student, I could tell because she was wearing an I.D.

She wore a simple grey sweater and black jeans paired with some tennis shoes. She has big round glasses and her hair was down.

I can't help but to look at her. She looked so familiar. I just can't specify who she was, exactly.

My thoughts were interrupted when the teacher called her up to the front to introduce herself.

"Hello, my name is Bailey Anderson. Please take care of me." She bowed her head and sat down into an empty chair the teacher had assigned her to.

"Ms. Anderson is a year younger than you, so treat her well." The teacher announced. But my head was still turned to the girl sitting two chairs away from mine.

I swear I saw her before.
I narrowed my eyes on her, that's when she turned her head and we made a quick eye contact before she faced front again.

I was still staring at the girl when Mr. Luhan called my attention.

"Ms. Johnson can tour you around school later after class. Would that be alright Ms. Johnson?"

"Pardon me?" I asked. I wasn't listening much so I didn't understand what Mr. Lu was talking about.

He sighed.
"It's your duty to take Ms. Anderson around this school and since you weren't listening, you have no choice but to do that, clear?"

"Crystal" I answered, bored.

It was actually fine for me to tour her, so that I can know her better and so that I can finally know where I saw her before.

ㅇㅇㅇ

Classes have already ended and it was my duty to tour Ms. Anderson.

I approached her near the lockers and tapped her shoulder.

"Hey, come on."

She nodded her head shyly and followed me.

All throughout the tour, she hasn't been speaking. She was just observing.

Huh. I thought.

She reminds me of, well, me.

She went to her locker to get her things.

She looked so shy, so vulnerable, like me, but the only difference is that I don't show it, but she does.

I smiled, but that smile faded when a bunch of cheerleaders went to her and started picking on her.

"Hey stop!" I shouted.

They all ran away when they realized that it was me.

I sighed when I saw her looking down.

"Not very sociable?" I asked her.

She nodded.

"Same here." I smiled sadly.

"Tell you what, how about we become friends?" I asked then smiled.

Having another friend won't hurt right?

Ugh! What is wrong with me?
