Chapter 14-Mrs Evil Genius

Sorry for the long wait. Major case of writter's block, I know how I want this story to end, I just have to get there...

Breakfast was fun Alex was very red faced throughout the whole affair, ultimately I think he was happy just to see me smile. Hunter and I were now sat in his car before school, because we were both unsociable and we were arguing over which guns and roses song was best, he voted sweet child o'mine and I voted welcome to the jungle. I was currently cuddled into his side with the gear stick digging in my leg.

'Hey Ry, during your sulkfest yesterday, you missed the notice for the talent show going up, I want you to enter, you'd be amazing. Its in May so a couple of months from now.' He spoke quietly kissing the top of my head.

'Do you think so? I suppose it would be fun. I could certainly teach these airheads that there is more to music than Justin Beiber and One fucking Direction.'

'Good, I'm glad you said that, coz I already signed you up'.

'Have I ever told you how much I love it when you take control Hunter?'

'No you haven't' he loomed over me pushing the lever of my seat back, pushing me down with the seat before whispering in my ear 'but I can take control now, If you love it so much.'

Of course before it could get too steamy someone rudely bashed on Hunter's window, scaring the shit out of us.

'Jesus fucking christ put your shirts back on, your giving everyone a free porn show, and you, you dirty beast get off my best friend' Casey hollered before whaking Hunter around the head.

'Ow, Casey what the fuck! That fucking Hurt, shit Riley where's your shirt. Ah here it is!' He exclaimed proudly plucking it off the mirror upfront, before he put the shirt back on me.

'Dude, I'm not baby, I've been dressing myself for 18 years now.' I raised an eyebrow at him.

'Riley, there are several perverted dickheads ogling what is mine, you really wanna argue about it now?'

'No,can we go now, Casey has steam comming from her ears and she's scary when she's angry'.

We both turned to look at an angry Casey.

'You want to tell me why you are comming out of this cheating toads car, why you were getting nasty in front of the school? Riley Evans you have some serious explaining to do young lady?'

'Baby, I love you, but your on your own for this one' and with that parting statement Hunter promptly kissed me as if his very life depended on it and then ran like the coward he is to meet his friend Mark, who was hilarious, and who I could pair up with Casey. Hmmmm Riley Evans evil genius extroadinnaire, I believe I do have a plan.

Looking up to meet a furious Casey I proceeded to fill her in on what happened last night, I also offered to make it up to her by asking her to meet me for dinner tonight at the diner.

'Oh my god, he must really love you huh? She gushed at me.

I pulled her in for a big cuddle, 'You know, you won't stick up for yourself, but you'll scream and holler if you think, I'm in trouble, like just now, with Hunter. I think you underestimate yourself Casey Burrows and I've never had a best friend that's a girl before, but I'm so glad you're mine. So, with that in mind, I want you to come to mine before we go to the dinner so I can give you a bad girl make over to go with that bad girl attitude you seem to have found.'

With that I left Casey, mouth gaping like a fish to go to my first class.

I quickly text Hunter during Mathsm which I was very bad at.

R: Hey handsome, I have a plan for tonight, get Mark to meet 'you' tonight at 7 at Rosa's Dinner.

H: Hey Tiger, bored in Maths huh? What you got planned?

R: Yep I'm bored. I don't get maths at all. As for 'THE PLAN'- Casey & Mark = Blind Date!!!!! Good Huh?

H: OOOOH I like your work Mrs Evil Genius, now move your head a little to the right, I can't see the board.

'Riley and Hunter, unless you want detention, I suggest you stop texting and start paying attention' the teacher's voice boomed. Scaring the shit out of the both of us.

H: Whoops

'Every damn lesson we have this, detention after school Riley and Hunter. 1 hour don't be late'

Riley's house after school......

'Casey stay still, damn it, I need to pluck these caterpillars off your face'

'OW, Riley that hurt'

'Keep still damn it, there done'.

Bloody hell that girl was hard work, I got off her after I'd had no option but to pin her to the bed, just to pluck her eyebrows. I'm not a girly girl by any means, but a girl has to have some standards at least. 'Now go put on those jeans and that top and then we'll go, we don't wanna be late.'

'Why would it matter if we're late, its just me and you right we can be there anytime.'

'Oh um....they'll run out of burgers' Burger's really Riley you twat, you don't even like burgers!

'But you don't like burgers'

'Never mind, just get your arse out here so we can go'.

'Jesus woman keep your hair on, I'm comming' She came out the bathroom and I swaer I was a miracle worker, gone were the baggy jeans, caterpillar eyebrows, jumpers that were so long you could easily get for people under it. Instead stood a girl in fitted flared jeans and a simple black tank top. Simple but she looked stunning, I'd added a little bit of mascarra and eyeliner, not as much as I'd wear and her look wasn't as rocky as mine but it suited her. I didn't want to turn her into someone she's not, so I stuck to plain and simple, somehow, she rocked it.

'Here try this' I picked up a long necklace with an owl on it and slipped it over her neck.

'Wow Riley this is beautiful, where'd you get it?'

I looked at her sadly 'My brother, Adam.'

'Oh, Are you sure its ok to wear this, are you ok with this, I'll take good care of it and I promise I'll return it tomorrow in one peice'.

'I know you will, now lets go, I'm hungry'.

30 mins later...

We pulled up at the dinner I could see where Hunter and Mark were sitting. I saw Hunter staring and quickly winked, the signal for him to leave, I pulled Casey over to the table Mark was left sitting at, he was tall, like Hunter and had dark brown messy bed hair, not as big and bad looking at Hunter but he was a great guy. I pushed Casey into the booth first

'Im just gonna go to the loo'.

And with that I made my exit.
