Okay

4 0 0

So simple

and yet

so complicated.

Misunderstood, misinterpreted

and sometimes

mispelled.

Is it 'k' or 'okay'?

'k'

gives much more finality.

As if that person didn't care anymore.

As if took so much effort on their part

to spell the word correctly.

'okie'

Would've meant that person was agreeing

with you.

And being sweet about it too.

'okay'

Same as agreeing, I guess.

It could mean the same as 'k' and 'okie'.

Or just be in between.

How one word

can perplex you.

Turn your day

into some horror movie.

Or maybe

turn your day

into awesomeness.

And when you're confused

if it's 'k', 'okie' and 'okay'

don't even

worry about it.

The spellings shouldn't matter.

Maybe what matters more

is the true feelings and expression

of the person you are talking to.
