"This is a nice house" I said as we pulled up in the drive way.
"Ma, please be nice. She isn't going to be everything you expect but I love her and that's all that matters." I flattened out my dress before opening the car door and stepping out. Dominic knocked on the door and instantly a dark skinned girl opened the door.
"Hi! " she greeted me and shook my hand. "Hi." I smiled. "Mama this is Nadia."
"Nice to meet you " I said and she smiled. "You too. I've heard so much about you"
"Hey Dominic." She said and they hugged. He was right. She wasn't what I expected. AT ALL! She was dark and big.... Really big.
"Come in." She opened the door a little more and we walked in. The smell of pork hit my noise as we walked in.
"Mama! Daddy! They are here!" Minutes later another pair of big people came down the stairs .
"You two can sit down." She said and we sat down. I glanced at Dominic before he smiled at me.
"Hi! You must be Jewel. My name is Kathy and this is my husband David" I shook both of there hands and so did Dominic.
"Nice seeing you again Dominic"
"You too Mr.and Mrs. Rosemin." Weall sat in the dining room and we talked. I could barley say anything.
"So..um.... How long have you two been together?" I managed to spill out.
"Today marks 2 months" Dominic smiled at Nadia and he squeezed her hand. I faked a smile.
"That's so cute."
"We meet at his job. I was going to get some shoes and he was the one that helped me pick them out." She leaned over to kiss his cheek and I almost gagged. Dominic didn't deserve this.... Thing.....
"Whose hungry? I've got pork chops and mashed potatoes cooking. "
"Yeah... About that... I'm a vegetarian" I lied. Dominic turned to look at me.
"Oh! Why didn't you say so? We have salad in the fridge."
Dominic POV
Me and Nadia were sitting outside while mama and Mr. And Mrs. Rosemin were inside drinking wine and talking.
"I have a strong feeling your mama don't like me" I rubbed her feet and smacked my lips.
"I don't give a flying fuck if she don't like you or not. She just gon have to deal with it. "

"Baby my ass Nadia. I love you and that's all that matters. I don't care about them niggas or them hoes. I love you and only you and I wanna spend my life with you." She smiled and kissed my lips.
"I love you too Dominic. You know, I never thought I was going to get married and have children. I was always looked at as the fat ass dark girl that only eat. But ever since I met you I felt loved and cared for. "

"You know our parents are in there. This is not a good time" I grabbed her hands and kissed them.
