We were best friends from day one telling each other everything
I was there through all of your relationships
Trying to keep my heart together
Many friend wanted us to be together
Many said we looked cute
You knew I liked you, you even asked
But I denied not knowing how you felt
Could you and I ever be was it even be
But now I see I should have never doubted it
That you liked me as well
Look at us now non of us knew
It would go this far between you and I
And the best love there could be has found
